Great stay at Halsey’s Marina!
We had a fantastic time at Halsey’s Marina in East Hampton. Dockmaster Les made the the whole experience easy,friendly, helpful, and clearly on top of everything expecially for a new boater. The marina is clean, well-run, and close to town, making it a perfect home base for our trip. Highly recommend, and be sure to say hi to Les. On our re-visit list for sure.

Very well maintained and quiet place to spend some time. People are friendly and the Dock-master Les makes the entire experience one to remember. And when Les says the sun will come out, you can count on it. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Halseys Marina in Three Mile Harbor fore 2 nights. Dock Master, Les Black is now our "Gold standard" for dock masters moving forward. He contacted us via cell phone prior to our arrival to ensure that we would have no trouble finding this small but very quaint marina. Les asked us to text him or call when we were at certain points in our journey and gave very specific directions to the marina which were spot on. Les and a deck hand were on the dock waiting for us which was a reassuring and refreshing change from what we have often experienced. In addition, Les gave us the lay of the land and made recommendations for meals and entertainment. Halsey Marina had a lovely bath house with indoor and outdoor showers and a nice TV room AND laundry machines. The barbecue area was more than sufficient and lovely, under the trees overlooking the harbor and spectacular sunset. We were later contacted via text by Les asking if we needed anything or had any questions. We will mark this as one of our favorite spots and hope to go back. Kudos to the 3 Mile Harbors team and especially Les Black.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. 3 Mike Harbor is a real gem as is the staff at the marina. There is plenty of dinghy space and the clubhouse and shower and rest room facilities were neat and clean. Super nice!!!!

The marina location is the farthest from the Mohring field, so be sure to bring your own dinghy.
The staff was not helpful. I had to press her to find a location where I could simply drop off luggage. The best spot to drop off luggage is a public dock on the left fork as you approach this marina. The public dock is actually passed the marina slips.

Only disappointment was there brochure said they had floating docks. We were on a fixed dock

Peter and staff are the best. Blew an idler pully they located part nearby i picked it up tech stayed late on a Friday. Got me back in the game in no time. Thanks again hmguys for a great stay.

Rented a mooring. The people at 3 mile harbor were very nice and went out of there way to be helpful. Used the shower facility, it appeared brand new and was very clean.
The only suggested improvement is the dinghy dock. It is floating plastic modules. Very tricky to walk on.

First of all, we went there for the Fourth of July: only later to be told that they ONLY celebrate Bastille Day (a French holiday) on 11 July 26.
Dinghy docks are dangerous (& shouldn't be used) there are empty slips use them for transient boaters' dinghies.
Over $80 for an Uber only 1 way.
Mooring aren’t safe, only mushroom anchors (not set) rated for 20 kts: almost every T-storms has winds above that!
When checking out to buy ice-cream: I was asked, so many questions as to be ridiculous. When did I arrive, how long am I staying, where we came from etc, etc.
Never felt welcomed.
Boat store was well stocked! Nice area, where the dog could run: but not fenced in. Marina lounge was extremely NICE & had a/c.
Plus at $100 a night: it was the most I have ever spent on a mooring in my whole LIFE. Then The FACT that to do laundry is an additional $10 per day is CRAZY: why?
So disappointed by this place.

Dear Mr. Cain, we’re sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time staying with us on our transient moorings. We wish we could have had the opportunity to work with you while you were here to address your concerns. - The Three Mile Harbor fireworks show is put on by the Clamshell Foundation, a local non-profit organization that has historically always done the fireworks show the weekend after the 4th of July. However, on the Friday and Saturday of the 4th weekend while you were here there were multiple fireworks shows in the area, including in Sag Harbor and at the Devon Yacht Club which can be driven to by boat, and at East Hampton main beach in town. - We are aware that the dinghy dock is wobbly and we have made changes to make it more stable. Per the information in our pre-arrival email we do have a floating dock slip that is designated for dinghies, that we could have pointed out to you if you had raised your concerns with us while you were here. - Unfortunately, we cannot control the Uber pricing, which can be high at peak times, especially on Holiday weekends like the 4th of July. - The transient moorings are heavy duty 500lbs mushroom anchors, which are advertised as such on our Dockwa page and in our pre-arrival email. We comply with East Hampton Town code and remove, inspect, repair, and reset the moorings annually. Our policy is to not provide moorings in storm wind conditions (20kts or greater) only to boats larger than 50ft or rafting vessels. We believe these are sensible precautions to ensure the safety of our boaters and our moorings. - Our staff are trained to be friendly and curious when our transients come into the store. We apologize if the conversation we had made you feel uncomfortable, it was certainly not our intent. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the clubhouse lounge and our ship’s store, as well as the public park next to our marina with your dog. - Our prices are posted and clearly communicated throughout the reservation process. Transient moorings are expensive to maintain and keep in tip-top shape. We stayed at Halseys. It’s one of the quietest and most beautiful spots we’ve ever been and the Dockmaster (Lester) is the best.

Seacoast Enterprises Associates is a family business that owns and operates four marinas and the only 7 transient moorings in Long Island's East Hampton Three Mile Harbor. Of the four marinas: Harbor Marina, Halsey’s Marina, Gardiner’s Marina, and Three Mile Harbor Marina, each location provides a different set of amenities and experiences. The East Hampton and Amagansett villages are a short car ride away, home to renowned beaches and restaurants. All marina locations have trained staff on-hand ready to assist boaters, provide access to electric and water hookups, and free WiFi.
Harbor Marina is the first marina at the entrance of Three Mile Harbor. The marina’s waterside restaurant "Bostwick's On The Harbor" provides a lovely sunset dining experience. Harbor Marina is a full service marina with floating docks, dry rack, and a fuel dock that sells ValvTect branded gasoline and diesel. There is a ship’s store on location that offers a wide variety of goods, from tackle and bait to gifts and ice cream.
Halsey’s Marina is located in the southern half of the harbor. The marina has fixed docks, a quaint clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, and a picnic area with grills. The basin is surrounded by nature preserves on three sides and affords peaceful natural views. The quiet and private atmosphere of Halsey’s Marina resembles a picturesque yacht club setting.
Gardiner’s Marina is located in the southern half of the harbor. The marina basin is newly-renovated, creating a larger space for more comfortable maneuvering into and out of slips. Gardiner’s Marina has bulkhead slips with floating finger piers, a modest clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, and laundry, a picnic area with grills, and allows for parking behind your boat. The marina’s close proximity on the west side to preserved wetlands offers uniquely beautiful views of the local environment.
Three Mile Harbor Marina is a full service marina and boatyard located in the southern end of Three Mile Harbor. Three Mile Harbor Marina provides slips in season, and year-round vessel storage and certified service for Mercury, Volvo Penta, Yamaha, and more. The marina has floating docks, a handicap-accessible clubhouse with bathrooms, showers, laundry, and grills. There is a ship’s store on location with an array of boating necessities including ice, snacks, bait, engine parts, and more.
The 7 transient moorings are 500lbs mushroom anchors located in the main deepwater mooring field of Three Mile Harbor. A stay on the transient moorings includes complimentary access to the dinghy dock and clubhouse at Three Mile Harbor Marina. The protected harbor provides calm waters, a dedicated watersports area, and lots of fellow boaters enjoying the Hamptons atmosphere. Please be aware that there is no launch service in Three Mile Harbor and it is a no-discharge zone.
Transient boaters are received in season between the operating hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, 7 days a week. Check-out time is 11:00 am, check-in time is 1:00 pm.

- Hail the marina on VHF Channel 9 when entering Three Mile Harbor to allow staff to prepare for your arrival.
- Holiday Weekends require a 2 night minimum stay (Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July Weekend, Three Mile Harbor Fireworks Weekend, and Labor Day Weekend. Weekends include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights).
- If you are traveling in a group, please confirm dates at least 30 days in advance or as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate based on availability.
- Day Trips are not accepted.
