Our stay was excellent. Halsey’s is a nice marina with neat, clean and well cared for amenities. Les Black was great and could not have been nicer and more accommodating. From his guidance in entering the marina and tying up to his vast local knowledge of East Hampton, Les was exceptional. Throughout our stay he was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Les is what makes Halsey’s a 5 star marina!

We stayed at Halseys Marina in Three Mile Harbor. Planned to stay 1 night but seas dictated that we stay another, which the marina was able to accommodate. Dock Master, Les Black is now our "Gold standard" for dock masters moving forward. He contacted us via cell phone prior to our arrival to ensure that we would have no trouble finding this small but very quaint marina. Les asked us to text him or call when we were at certain points in our journey and gave very specific directions to the marina which were spot on. Les and a deck hand were on the dock waiting for us which was a reassuring and refreshing change from what we have often experienced. In addition, Les gave us the lay of the land and made recommendations for meals and entertainment. Halsey Marina had a lovely bath house with indoor and outdoor showers and a nice TV room AND laundry machines. The barbecue area was more than sufficient and lovely, under the trees overlooking the harbor and spectacular sunset. We were later contacted via text by Les asking if we needed anything or had any questions. We will mark this as one of our favorite spots and hope to go back. Kudos to the 3 Mile Harbors team and especially Les Black.

Les Black is an excellent dockmaster. Great directions on where to go to find Halsey's marina, lovely slip, beautiful marina with lovely sunset views. Great water pressure to wash the salt off the boat, excellent facilities with 3 large commercial washers and dryers. Les gave great recommendations for dinner and where to provision. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Stay in East Hampton at Halseys Marina, Les and his team provide incredible service from start to finish. They recommended a few dinner spots and Bostwick's on the Harbor was what we chose. It is a great spot and great menu.

There are 4 marinas owned by a common group. The dockmaster at Halseys Marina, Les, was wonderful. Gave good instructions on how to enter marina and did an excellent job when we left the slip. The dockhands were always there to help or ask if you needed anything. I highly recommend this Marina and will definitely contact them next time I plan to go to Three Mile Harbor.

Could not do enough for us. Attentive to our needs. Made sure we were comfortable with our location because of an elderly dog who has trouble getting off of boat. Offered suggestions on where to eat or go. Had interesting bits of info on people and places. All of this describes a super nice and generous dock master, Les Black. East Hampton has a top notch person on their team at their marinas. We stayed at Gardiner's Marina but Les also suggested Halsey's for a visit next trip.

Our moorings reservation worked perfectly although we never discovered where the Marina was or took advantage of anything other than the mooring itself. Gorgeous harbor.

A lovely spot, we were stern out towards a beautiful harbor with quiet boat traffic and amazing wildlife. Les and crew were ever present, very pleasant, and always helpful. Well located near restaurants, an amazing deli, and a famous farmstand. We paddle boarded all the way to the far end of 3-mile harbor, great exercise and just beautiful. In all, a great place and stay.

Three mile harbor is a very nice place to spend a few days. There is a good anchorage there and we would have anchored but our windlass was out of order at the time. The mooring balls are SUPER expensive and we only got one because of our windlass situation.

We had our initial reservation at three mile but were moved to Halsey's Marina. It is part of the same family of marinas but a mile north. We absolutely loved the facility and grounds and staff. Les Black is super helpful and knowledgeable. He would not let us tie up to our slip without his hands on help. The marina has gas grills. Local seasonal boaters who are very friendly. The laundry has new washer and dryer and they are free to use.
It’s very close to East Hampton center and 30 minutes from Montauk. Strongly recommend Haley’s. The nicest marina on our trip. .

Fantastic experience all-around. The bathhouse and laundry room were new, clean and well-maintained. The marina is extremely well-protected. The dock hands and Dockmaster were all very supportive. We had a very nice four night stay here and recommend it highly.
It can be a little tricky to find the first time you come here. Just call ahead and they’ll explain it, and there’ll be no problem. Or set your navigation system for Three Mile Harbor Boatyard instead of Marina and that will work too.

Staff was very accommodating, dock were well maintained. However, there are NO restrooms or showers. Only a portly potty with turds floating in blue fluid is the restroom accommodation. But it is the easiest marina to bike into East Hampton with sidewalks to bike upon. From any other marina you must gamble on the attention and diligence of race car drivers in their SUV's while sharing the roadway. We left early...we paid for two nights, but left after one.

Three Mile Harbor Marina is currently completing work on a brand new club house and bathroom facility for the 2018 boating season. In addition, a beautiful new deli and market is being built over the 2017/2018 winter season, located just a short walking distance from the marina, via a safe sidewalk. Also, the Three Mile Harbor Marina Dinghy Dock is first rate, and provides a great tie up location for our transient mooring customers. A lot of exciting and new things are happening here on Three Mile Harbor. Remote location, no answer on VHF, no immediate help to locate mooring. No access to shore either paid or otherwise. Way overpriced at $75 per night.

Thank you for staying with us and for your feedback regarding your recent stay on one of our transient moorings. We support transient boaters with full dockage support and related services between 9am and 5pm, 7 days a week in season. We monitor VHF channel 9 on 2 powerful base station locations and between 5 and 10 handheld VHF radios every day during operating hours. Late arrivals and Departures do require communication prior to the planned arrival and/or departure time, should you require assisstance.
We do not have a launch service and the deep water mooring field is in the middle(i.e. deep water section) of Three Mile Harbor(11 feet mean low water). It is a little remote, but one of the few places that you can truly get away from it all for a special stay. Three Mile Harbor is one of the cleanest, most beautiful and protected water bodies on Eastern Long Island. We do offer three dingy dock locations (North, South and Central Harbor Locations), for Transient Mooring Customers to tie up at. We have two well stocked ships stores, fuel dock, two full service boatyards with haul outs and certified techniicans, and awesome waterfront dining at the Harbor Marina Location.
Our mooring tackle is first rate and well maintained throughout the season. We terminated our planned three day stay in one night as we were less than pleased with the whole setup. Distance to marina was quite far and the mooring field was isolated. No restrooms available. Advertised shuttle to town was actually the public bus going by. We asked about the dinghy dock and were told we'd have to call and check if there was room for our dinghy. I guess for the most we've ever paid for mooring fees we expect more. Its easy to say we won't be back.

Thank you for your feedback. Three Mile Harbor is a fairly large water body, approximately 2.5 miles in length. The deepwater mooring field is located towards the center of the harbor and it does take a few minutes to dinghy in to one of our four marina properties that are located along the harbors eastern and southern shoreline. Many people like the Three Mile Harbor Mooring field because it is well protected, its deep (11ft mean low water), and offers an abundance of clean water and natural beauty. We have dinghy docks at Harbor Marina and Three Mile Harbor Marina for the use of our transient mooring customers. Each of these facilities has a well stocked ships store. Also, we do encourage first time guests to check in with us to ensure they tie up at the correct location on busy weekends. Harbor Marina has an excellent Waterfront restaurant as well. (Bay Kitchen Bar)
We do not represent a shuttle to town. As you pointed out there is a public bus and numerous private cabs, car services and Uber. Our staff is available from 8:30am until 5:00pm 7 days a week in season to help with customer requests via VHF channel 9 and our main office numbers 631.324.5666 or 631.324.1320.
Lastly, Three Mile Harbor Marina is building a brand new club house with new bathrooms for the 2018 season.

Very difficult to locate moorings per instruction of marina. No facilities (baths or wifi) and located very very far from dingy dock. Anchorage offers poor protection/Located in large lake (1 mi. X 2 mi.). Overpriced !!!
About East Hampton Three Mile Harbor Marinas
Three Mile Harbor Marina is a full service marina and boatyard with a well stocked ship's store and a newly constructed club house. The Marina has floating docks and electric or water hookups at each slip. The new clubhouse has restrooms, showers, laundry, handicap access, and a small business area with air conditioning. The outside seating has grills available for all marina guests.
The Three Mile Harbor Marina staff assist with transient moorings adjacent to the western side of the channel, half way into the harbor. A dinghy dock is located on the east side of the C-Dock for transient mooring customers use. We do not provide a launch service for our moorings.
Three Mile Harbor Marina receives transient boaters between the operating hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, 7 days a week, in season. Check-out/Check-in time is at 11:00 am. Please use VHF Channel 9 to contact the marina during regular operating hours when your vessel is well within Three Mile Harbor and we will offer you full service dockage and support, including any related marina services during our regular, scheduled hours of operation.

Please include the hours you plan to arrive and depart if you are planning a day trip. Please also note that the rate includes two hours and those who stay longer may be charged for additional time.
