This is a good spot close to downtown. The showers were clean and tidy but cost a quarter. Take 2 quarters wit you Justin case

Great staff. The negative is you may be placed at a dock where you need to move to allow other boats to enter or exit safely as we needed to.

We've been coming to the Tug Boat Inn Marina for more than 30 years and are always happy with Peter and his team's assistance. The location is great in the heart of the village.

Friendly people, close to the center of town. Nice bar and restaurant right there. Might have given 4 or 5 stars except: you have to put quarters in a box to take a shower. A bit much when they're charging you $200 a night.

Excellent accommodations for boats under 40 ft .BUT if you are longer you are literally put adjacent to the free Anchorage area ..... so anchor for free

Tugboat is very convenient to the Boothbay waterfront and Whale park. The mooring was clean of growth. The dinghy dock is brand new. I dropped off my garbage and took on fresh water at their dock. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Perfect spot for watching the Windjammers sail right by you and anchor in the harbor. We did not use the facilities on land but the mooring locations are well protected and easy access to land.

We always like staying at the Tugboat, but when we arrived at 5 pm, we had
major difficulty getting any power and no one to help us. So we moved our boat to another dock location and "VIOLA" it worked. Just a little frustrating after
boating all day to run into this difficulty. We'll be back, though.

After tying to a mooring and finding ourselves too close to a lobster buoy, we asked for guidance on a better location. The dockmaster came out in a skiff and pointed out multiple other options. There are so many mooring balls in Boothbay Harbor it was very difficult to understand whose was whose. We greatly appreciated the help.
2nd visit: great location and easy and quick to get info from the dockmaster.

We always visit Boothbay when cruising Maine and we always stay on a mooring at Tugboat. The inside mooring field is "cozy" which is part of the charm. Yes the balls are kind of close but people need to be honest about their boat lengths. If you are longer than about 42' on deck it can get very tight. If there is a breeze and all boats are pointing the same direction then no issues. When calm and different types of boats start misbehaving, then it can get interesting. No bridles, keep the pendant short, keep dinghy alongsides.

We come back to the Tug Boat every season at least twice. It's always clean and comfy. Love the roof top bar and all the amenities. Excellent place to stay There's always someone ready for lines and help to dock your boat.

Tug Boat Inn is one of favorite places to visit. We enjoy the location that is down town and watching the boats passing by. This year the harbor changes its’ maine channel through the harbor which has changed the location of the moorings. They need to work on better placement of the moorings, some have a lot of space and some are too close. We encountered our boat hitting another boat on the mooring next to us. There were three of us concerned about the spacing and it proved to be an issue. In the past there has never been an issue in the 25 years I have been going there. There also confusion on the reservations where they were overbooked. We love the Tugboat Inn, the location, roof top bar, and the lounge which has great music. We Love Tugboat Inn and I am sure they will work out the issues with their moorings.

The location is amazing - mooring in the middle of the harbor and listening to some live music weaving its way over the water to us while the sun set was to dream for! What a lively, lovely, quintessential Maine harbor town. Thank you for offering the moorings, Tugboat Inn!
