Mooring assignments are a little hard to find but all was well otherwise.

Wildly overpriced for what you get. When we arrived, hailed to ask how to find our assigned mooring; no response. Called by phone instead; person answering phone didn't know, and there was no one else available. Included launch was not running (it's available 7 days a week, unless it's the dock person's day off, or he's not in). Free restroom in the store was disgustingly dirty; another restroom and shower in the adjacent building cost $5 per use. $2 charge to fill with water at the fuel dock. $5 per bag to drop off garbage.
Assuming 2 people on the boat want to shower once a day and use no other services, that's $50/day total. Compare the closest Dockwa-listed marina, Tenants Harbor Boat Yard: $87.50 per day (for our 35-ft boat) includes showers, clean restrooms, trash disposal, water tank fill. And that's for a dock, with helpful staff. Or $30 for a mooring, which includes launch, restrooms, showers, garbage, water.
A pity. We've wanted to stay in Port Clyde for a while, and it is a beautiful spot where we had a restful night. But we won't be back.

It's a beautiful spot with complimentary moorings from the yacht club. I haven't yet sent them a donation but I will. Why 3 stars? There is NO fresh water. Spigots and hoses offer sea water. Sanitation? Porta potties beyond the pier. This is not a complaint. We knew this going in. Just wanted to make it clear for new omers.

Good secure mooring and straightforward easy to work with people. Port Clyde is cool.
We’ll be back,

OK, but the advertised launch service wasn’t available on the day we arrived, though it was on the following day.

Nice spot, nice restaurant, only problem was curtailed hours of store hours and no marina staff, I am sure due to current labor conditions.

$40 is at the high end of ME moorings, but then they charge $5 additional to bring off a bag of trash and $2 to fill water. Described launch hasn’t run any of the last few times we’ve moored here. Sometimes irregular store hours make restroom/shower access inconvenient.

No one responded to the VHF on our arrival at 3:00 PM. No one answered the phone. No way for incoming boats to get mooring assignments. Restaurant was very understaffed with a very limited menu. Beautiful location but we did not receive the usual quality service.

The mooring was great but we called and asked about getting fuel and they told us to come into the fuel dock, but when we did, we were then told that the fuel pump was not working.

Mooring was available and town was adorable, as was the lighthouse & museum. Harbor was mostly commercial fishermen. Lobster boats throw substantial wake with little regard for pleasure boaters starting at 4am, which seems to be the norm in Maine.

I was directed to numbered mooring buoy, but the number was not visible - need to repaint buoy numbers
Almost no cell phone signal for me in this harbor

Great spot, launch service was excellent. Showers are $5, nice clean facilities. Port Clyde is a cool little town to explore!

The harbor master is a one man show! Great service.

Good moorings with convenient access to store. Wish the store had more supplies specific to boaters (e.g alcohol for a burner )

Friendly dock staff. Fun dockside restaurant and general store. Anchorage is rolly and wide open to the Southwest. Ample moorings
