Perfect stay. First time I have stayed in Port Clyde and I have cruised the coast for 35 years. My mistake....this is a great place to visit and stay.

So many moorings available, easy paddle into the General Store to resupply and walk through town. Wifi available at the store. Received several recommendations in town and ended up walking to the lighthouse and having dinner at the Dip Net!

We came in during a hard rain and blow. Radioed and fellow who answered could not give any reference point other to mooring other than “white ball with green toggle” Found one and was good solid mooring held on 35kt blow. Next day we inquired about the fuel dock, dinghy tie ups, and fuel price. They said they were in the store and didn’t know. Good moorings, beautiful town, need to improve communication

Great stop. Nice walk. Great ice cream. Great general store. We’ll be back. Moorings are significantly improved. The lad working the dock might want to wear something that indicates he works there.

Lovely spot, great walk to the light house but the General Store while quaint charges for everything. 5$ for garbage(should be included), $5 for showers…no thanks and two mediocre omelets for $36….not again.

Everything was easy, the mooring was in good condition, and the harbor was quiet. The launch makes it easy to go to shore. Delicious lobster at both the General Store and DipNet Restaurant. Be sure to visit Village Ice Cream and Bakery. We love staying in Port Clyde.

It is important to keep in mind that this is a working Harbor so lots of boat traffic early and late. A suggestion: The marina moorings do not need two pick up buoys. The flagged buoy is enough and the additional buoy is cumbersome and needless. Store has interesting items, and stretching your legs by walking to the lighthouse is a must.

When the launch driver took us out to our boat this morning he slammed the old white Whaler into the side of our boat. The sea is glassy calm. We just had our boat all gripped in a beautiful red. The majority of the white paint came off, but there are two large gouges. A really unnessesary, unkind mistake..

About Port Clyde General Store
We have 17 moorings available to rent by the night. Our private dock offers gasoline, diesel and fresh water. Need a hot shower or to dispose of trash we can help with that as well! Place an online order at PortClydeGeneralStore.com to have your groceries ready for pick up upon your arrival. Two inns are located within walking distance of the marina. Call us on channel 9. Please note: no launch service at this time due to staffing shortages.
