The Marina at America Wharf was a great place to stay. We were met by the manager upon arrival and had everything we needed while we were there.

We really enjoyed our first trip to Norwich, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The marina provided us with easy access to laundry facilities, showers, restrooms and there was a shuttle available to transport us practically anywhere we needed to go. Norwich has some of the most beautiful architecture just a short stroll from the marina. There’s a great restaurant/bar right at the marina called “These Guys Brewing Company” in town there’s a traditional Irish pub called “Harp and Dragon” too. There’s a quaint coffee shop in town “Cream” where we grabbed some delicious coffee and baked goods for our transit back down the Thames River. For those feeling lucky Mohegan Sun is a short shuttle ride from the marina. We were riding out the unusual weather from Hurricane Erin, it was rainy, windy and cold which was definitely not the weather we expected in August, but had the weather cooperated we would absolutely enjoyed the pool located on the premises. A special thanks to Dock Master Don and staff members Eric & Paul who all were delightful and brightened our stay! Hope to be back again soon, maybe for the “balloons and tunes” festival..

Don and his team are always very accomadating whenever we visit. They are clear in communication and clearly care about the boater's experience when visiting. Facilities were excellent, our guests recieved top notch service and I will continue to return every year.

We came to the marina from Long Island for an overnight stay at Mohegan. The staff was friendly and docking was easy. It appears that the new owners are fixing it up and trying to open the restaurant/bar on sight.That would be a great addition to the marina. I look forward to returning

Helpful staff, customer comes first attitude.
Many signs of ongoing renovations. Docks in decent condition with working electrical, water and secure cleats.
We plan to return and spread the word it’s a good destination

Place is falling apart worst shower in a marina iv seen and iv travel extensively. Can’t believe they charged so much for a dock.

The location is excellent. We went there to escape the 9/2023 hurricane that brushed by. There were quite a few boats there doing the same including boats 80 feet and longer. It is an excellent hurricane hole. Don the dock master is really nice, and the people who keep there boats there are genuine and friendly. There is a free ride to the casino (Thanks to Don) in the marina van. The marina looks a little weathered as the current owners have not kept up the facilities, but we felt safe and had everything we needed. The good news is that it looks like new owners are purchasing the facility and sound commuted to revitalizing it and bringing it back to its former glory. I look forward to going there again and seeing the fireworks next year.

Both Don and Dan were fantastic hosts. Unfortunately there was not too much to do there. Restaurant and bar both closed down. We did get shuttled to both Casinos which was part of our plans. Wishing the place the best and hopefully it rebounds and becomes what it use to be.

Docks in disrepair no fuel anymore no restaurant anymore staff are accommodating but obviously no money being spent to keep the marina going

Staff was great. Dockhands were right there as we approached the marina and were very helpful.
Bathroom and showers were clean. Could use some fresh paint. The pool could have used some attention. We stayed one night for the Fireworks and it was exactly what we needed. We will be back next year for a overnight.

Great spot to weather a storm and also have a bite to eat. Always a beautiful trip up the river. Lotsa duck poop on the unused docks though where some transients tie up.

We came to head to the casino we come every year the casino was not great. Not many tables open and the ones that were were to packed to get in. The staff at the marina are always friendly and helpful. shuttle to and from the casinos. Restaurant/ bar was open and food was not bad at all for a quick bit and a cocktail. See you guys next season.
