Jekyll Harbor Marina

The best dock staff. So, so helpful and experienced. Cannot say enough good bout Jovan! From day one he was so kind, attentive and helpful. He even helped fix our galley faucet that was leaking … amazing gesture. Great bike trails and island history. Worth all of our 6 day visit. Hope to return one day. Keep up the great service. Jekyll Harbor Marina We stayed for two nights at the Jekyll Harbor Marina. The dock master and dockhands were great, they guided us into the slip and helped get everything connected. They gave us a quick overview of the amenities. We then checked in with the marina office. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The marina has free bikes, golf carts and a loaner car. The first afternoon we took a golf cart to get an overview of the island. The next day we got bikes to ride over to the historic area and took a tram tour of the historic area and got to go to one of the cottages from the Jekyll Island Club era. It was very good. When we got back we decided to eat lunch at the marina restaurant, Zachary’s Riverhouse. The night before the restaurant was very busy. The reason I only gave 3 stars is the condition of the facilities. It appears that everything on the island like the marina is controlled by the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA). The facilities at the marina are run down. The bath/shower had paint peeling off the walls. We decided not to use the showers because of the conditions. The pool was clean but had limited seating. The bikes were free but had a hard time finding two working bikes. I am not sure if the JIA manages the restaurant or if it is contracted out but it was dirty. I do not fault the marina staff, as I said they were wonderful. I do fault the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA) for not maintaining the facilities and not putting money into the marina. It was nothing that a few gallons of paint and a pressure washer and a few new bikes could not fix. I hope the next time we stay here the JIA will have updated the facilities.

Small marina with big amenities — pool; hot tub; picnic grounds with grill. On site restaurant with big local following. Laundry facilities andstay dock crew to help with lines , power and water . Friendly Courteous staff members. The coldest beer I’ve had in a long time at the restaurant as well as tasty eats.

Always a pleasure tying up here. Staff are wonderful. Visit here often.

They were very helpful. We had a lot of fun, and there is a lot to do there. Many vendors take care of any need.

Great stop, easy in and out and fuel. Marina folks very helpful and accommodating..provided golf cart and bikes to explore the island. Restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday so can’t comment. Pool/hot tub was convenient and well maintained. Loved the place and service!

The staff, Amanda, Joe and Kenny were outstanding. The price of diesel was good. We had originally planned on one night but after cycling into town, decided to stay an extra night. Beaches are beautiful, bike paths everywhere and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

From the time we called in for a last minute reservation, docking and amenities, Jekyll Harbor Marina was fantastic. Communication was easy, rates affordable and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommend a stop here!!

We had the best time from fueling up to sw8mming.and hot tubbing to fresh shrimp at the bar! We even shared a carvelle ice cream birthday cake with a local bday boat lady! Thanks! John Kaiser

The location is great. Unfortunately the pump out was not working very well (attendant verified). Btw Kenny (dockhand) was supper nice and helpful. Waterway guide Claims more depth at dock than there was. Not even completely low tide and I measured 5ft. Zachary’s was decent,,,portions were good and priced reasonably. However, both times we ate there (late lunch, dinner next day) they were out of half the sides,,,different each time. Not the worst thing and we will def go back and enjoy the island.

Chris, dockhand, and helper were very good and rendered great assistances in 25 knot wind. Rate was $2.50 foot and $9.00 for a 50 amp plus. Floating concrete docks.

Beautiful marina on a beautiful island! The dock team were very helpful and very went the extra mile to assist us with a few additional requests. Only caution is be prepared that low tide on the face dock is less than 5’ which for us delayed our departure. Plan ahead!
