A few days prior to our visit, requested docking space via Dockwa-the Marina responded within minutes. On a prior visit, we reserved a mooring ball. It couldn’t be any easier. Dock Master Craig and Chris greeted and assisted us and also gave a welcomed tip as we were docking. Our crew enjoyed pickleball, then cooled off in the pool. Dinner that evening was at the Drunken Pelican, where they had a wonderful BBQ feast. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful and enjoyed dancing to the music played by the live band.

They did not have electricity. We are a 50amp cable with 240 vlt requirement yest the marina didnt offer it. (very standard et up). Regardless, the employees were nice and the facilties pretty.

Peters Island was our favorite stay! The dockmaster and crew were so helpful and the amenities included with dockage were great. Very beautiful pool and beach, the golf carts were happy to take us everywhere. The Drake restaurant was the best!! High end service and food. Will be back again!

We reserved through Dockwa and did not know where the morning balls were located until we radioed the marina. They are in Deadman’s bay and the field is spacious. Balls are not as easy to identify as Boaty Balls but not a problem. Good snorkeling around Cabey point (turtles and reef fish). No dingy dock to get to the Steakhouse so it’s beach landing. Overall I would recommend this Dockwa site only reason it’s a four not five is there are a few touches for improvement but will use again.

Gorgeous resort, expensive but luxury comes with a price. All marina/dock staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The gentleman who guided us into the dock was an absolute pro! A quiet luxurious break from the party vibe of other places in the BVI. Must make reservations ahead for dining. We have not even departed yet this morning, and I already can’t wait to return.

The facilities and resort overall are wonderful. The comunication with narina staff was weak. Tried phone and the transfer system drops call. Thenwe discoveted that there are no ball in Sprat Bay. The marina suggested Great Bay. But dis not tell us that the Ball fee was not for that mooring field. The guides and instructiins need to be updated.

Picked up an overnight ball in Deadman’s Bay. Enjoyed snorkeling and the beach in SE corner of bay. Had a fantastic dinner at Drakes Steakhouse. Be aware there is no dingy dock. Very unpleasant experience beaching dingy in rough surf while dressed for dinner! I encourage the resort to make the small investment.

The moorings themselves are well kept and Great Harbour is a very calm and pleasant place to overnight. But getting from both Great Harbour and Deadman's Bay to the marina dinghy dock requires going around points into the unprotected waters of the Channel and is very rolly. We weren't able to stay dry on the way over to dinner even at minimal speed and the way back in the dark was a bit hairy. Unless they start offering tenders to dinner guests (which, with the prices, they really should), I would only have dinner here if you are willing to get a slip or it's exceptionally calm with a good moon for the ride back.
