Our boat ran into difficulties with the rudder during an offshore race. Garrett and crew quickly provided a slip to go to and allowed the boat to stay until the boatyard could look at it. The docks are new and the facilities immaculate. The team was incredibly helpful and friendly during a difficult time!

Beautiful newly renovated marina. Helpful staff. Ventura Harbor has two fuel docks (with fair prices and good service), and numerous restaurants and shops. It is protected from the winds of the Santa Barbara Channel. A wonderful trip to the Channel Islands! Our second trip to Ventura Harbor and this marina was just as much fun as the first! Safe Harbor Ventura Isle marina is clean, comfortable, and fun. It is within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants. Just a great little vacation!!

Everything was great. Our assigned slip was waiting for us upon arrival. Check in could not have been easier when I was handed our packet, including gate keys. Departure did not have been easier, leaving our gate keys in the dock box. Everything from the docks to the bathrooms were clean and had a new appearance to them. It was nice to see patio furniture, and areas with grills and heaters set up for marina tenants.

Great marina, nice people. It was a bit stressful getting fuel at the Mavco fuel dock the morning of departure. Another large sailboat was fueling when we arrived so we stood off. As the other big boat left a smaller fishing boat passed us and took our spot. Then when we did get in, the emphasis was on getting us out so they could sell bait to the fishing boats. No fun and an hour delay. Plan accordingly.

Safe Harbor Ventura Isle Marina is absolutely Spectacular! In fact, we loved it so much, we moved our boat there permanently from Marina Del Rey! All the staff are super friendly and helpful and the facilities are top notch, the best we’ve ever seen in all of our travels. 10 stars!!!

I’m not allowed to stay because no one will write an insurance policy for a 40+yo boat!

I have visited Ventura and Santa Barbara (from Cabrillo Way Marina in San Pedro) many times and can say without a doubt my favorite marina to visit is Safe Harbor in Ventura. Their facilities are excellent and the staff is always helpful and very friendly. I hope to keep visiting for many years, or possibly keep my Dufour 42 there if I spend more time in that area in the future. Enjoy!

We stayed at Safe Harbor Ventura Isle this fall 2023 during a cruise down the coast from San Francisco Bay to the Channel Islands, and truly can't speak highly enough about this wonderful marina. They had space for our 40' catamaran, which is difficult to find, were incredibly welcoming, and the entire facility is gorgeous, modern and well-maintained. Power and water on the dock, a pump-out station nearby, and fuel at nearby facilities meant all services were taken care of. A welcome packet with two docks keys on lanyards and information brochures gave us what we needed to access updated bathrooms with showers and laundry room with multiple machines. And of course a short walk takes you to the vibrant waterfront with restaurants and shops nearby. The location is a little on the outside of town, so an Uber was needed to provision at a full grocery store, but two marine stores are within walking distance - a full retail marine supply store, as well as an incredible marine consignment store. This is the place to stay if you are passing through the area and are in need of services! Thanks so much, Ventura Isle!

Great location, secure, bathrooms and showers very clean, all staff I met and talked to very friendly and easy to work with! This is my 5th visit to Safe Harbor Ventura Isle and I will be back Bronco Billy!
