The Marina never replied to the request for the mooring so we had to make other arrangements

It was an easy in and out for us. Quiet and private in the cove. Danielle was awesome stayed on the phone with us from the time we entered the cove until we were at our mooring.

Had a great time, Danielle was very helpful and came out at 930 PM to show us where to dock/Moore. She did not respond to my dockwa request though and I had to call to verify but was helpful when I did so I suggest calling as soon as you place the request if you want a spot. Slept very well at the location she put us at.

Cove Moorings is not a Dockwa participant at this time, FYI. You will need to contact Danielle at the phone number listed. Also there are NO amenities even though there are 3 listed.

Quiet, guarded location.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Newport. The mooring dock Is what was advertised - just that. No amenities, which was fine for us. Easy access and tie-ups. $3 per person for the Launch to Downtown Newport - a bit of a long ride. The Cove Mooring Mgmt was very accommodating when we had to change dates. They were very helpful with providing local info on the Launch, dinghy dock location, restaurants, etc. We would go back.

Cove Marinas was a little bit of a mixed bag, but overall very good. The good -EXTREMELY calm and protected from the south and West, in the Lee I’d Fort Adams. Calmer than anywhere else in Brenton Cove, or probably anywhere in Newport. Denise who runs it was very communicative and flexible. We needed to change the date of our reservation less than 24 hours b4 we were supposed to arrive and she was exceptionally easy about it. The mixed-Strictly speaking these aren’t moorings. They are small Narrow floating docks secured to the bottom by moorings fore and aft. similar to what I’ve seen in rivers. As such you need to be ready with fenders and lines. Definitely more of a number than grabbing a mooring. We shared #1 with a charter cat which gave us much less privacy than a mooring would have. Finally, they were an extremely shallow spot-shallow like awash at low tide-RIGHT-in front of the the little dock making arrival and departure both a little tense.

Love the floating dock. They were very accommodating on short notice.

For well over two decades, we have enjoyed the piece of paradise that is Brenton Cove Moorings. From our first days with the infamous Carl as proprietor, and then with fun-loving Maria, and now under the professional management of Danielle, we have always been treated with the utmost of consideration and kindness. We have traveled extensively, from Rhode Island to Florida to the Bahamas and all of the area islands, and we can truly say, Brenton Cove Moorings is "home"! Danielle goes above and beyond to accommodate us every season. We love the added stability, quiet, and space of being on the floating docks vs. the town's high traffic mooring fields or crowded docks. The tranquility, security, and serenity of the of the cove mooring docks are unique and unparalleled. By far, two thumbs up, although on one level, we are hesitant to endorse our piece of paradise for fear of it being even more discovered, nevertheless, Danielle deserves for the truth to be stated. This is a very professionally run business with a wonderful boating experience provided to those lucky enough to enjoy these accommodations.

We love Danielle and her floating docks. We are a Carver 350 Mariner, have been a seasonal renter with Cove Moorings for three seasons and couldn't be happier with the location and Danielle as an operator.

Our favorite place to be. Beautiful spot and it's nice to be secured to a floating dock without being at a marina. Thank you Danielle and Maria for always trying to accommodate us.

Imagine for a moment that you have a perfect view of the Newport Folk / Jazz Festivals, a beautiful view of Fort Adams to the North West and all of Newport Harbor to the East. Navtours is a seasonal tenant on Float number 4 and we couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received from Danielle and the entire mooring staff. The Newport Harbormaster is on Channel 16 and is one of the best in the country at helping visiting vessels find their moorings. In our case we are in and out regularly and have added some special bumpers permanently to the dock. If we’re not there and the float is rented you also have the use of only those bumpers but also several extra mooring lines we leave on the awesome floating platform near our neighbor’s skiff. The floating platform provides the perfect solution for cleaning our hulls as well as assuring a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Being sailors, it’s also wonderful to be able to see all of the youth programs in the harbors sail by along with all of the activity at Sail Newport. This is the perfect spot for a quick overnight stay or for the week, which is why it’s almost always booked..

Danielle has been incredible, this is an amazingly well-run and responsible marina. There are floating docks and we have been tied up for a few months now. The review that is below this is very confusing because we are the sailboat they are referring to. Our dingy is ON TOP of the floating dock, not in the water. It has been there for two months. Did their plans change and they are looking to get out of paying?? Just putting this out there as we definitely were not, and are not in the water with our dingy. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were lost and mistaken about the location of the dock assignment. At any rate, Danielle calls us anytime there is a slight issue with our tie-up. She called me immediately to confirm that our dingy was not in the water while this issue was being raised.

Worst marina encountered. Made reservation via Dockwa and when we arrived could not raise them on VHF. No phone number listed but a Google search provided one. Person answered but sail mooring field was her daughter’s responsibility. She did provide a phone number. Called number and her daughter gave us a float assignment. (These are moored docks that tie up a vessel on each side.) “Our” float had a sailboat on one side and his dingy moored to our side. Impossible to dock without interfering with dingy. Were told that she would try to contact owner but it appeared to be no one aboard. She told us we would have to wait until the owner returned. This timing did not work for us and we requested another dock or a cancellation. She hung up on us. We have submitted a claim via Dock.wa but no refund so far. This experience is a direct opposite to all of our previous Dock.wa bookings.

A bigger, less-weathered number on our floating dock would have made finding it a bit easier. Otherwise, fine.

First time on these floating docks. Pretty sheltered location but quite far from downtown but launch ran every hour. They were quite helpful helping us get onto the dock. Came out in the rain & waited at the dock for us. Great service. Thanks.

Close location to Ft. Adams... Mooring is a floating platform with cleats which helps to reduce motion. Danielle sent me a message prior to arriving with her phone number and instructions to call her when we arrived. When called she promptly gave us our assignment and instructions on where it was - easy to find. Pricing slightly higher than other options in Newport.
