The Dockmaster was very friendly and helpful. The docks weren’t the greatest but the staff made up for it! Great pizza at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this marina!

When I arrived no one answered on ch 9. So I called the dock office on my phone and got no answer. It was 2:30 in the afternoon! I idled in the marina for 10 minutes before I finally flagged down a work boat to get assistance. The docks are old and need to be replaced. The dock hands were indifferent and made it clear they could care less. When I took a 10 out for a tip he actually reached over and took it out of my hand before I could give it to him. This marina is Safe Harbor in name only and nothing like the high end Safe Harbor marinas I’ve encountered elsewhere.

As noted in other reviews, the dockhands know their stuff! We were received a warm welcome from each and every member of the marina staff. They were helpful and kind and were willing to go out of their way to make our stay a great one!
We would highly recommend this marina again and again!

The ride of the Hudson river is my favorite ride. The views are spectacular.
The marina itself needs a little work, but don’t they all? The Docks could definitely use some paint. like all places, good staff is hard to find. but I found the young 16-year-old staff at Haverstraw or pleasantly nice. I hope they find a good pool service soon because I know they were struggling with their pool service to get the pool cleaned but we still enjoyed it. The restaurant was great and the tiki bar was one of our highlights there. Meghan Was definitely their best employee. She was kind, she was professional, and most of all she made fantastic drinks. I’m sorry I don’t remember the managers name, but he was also very attentive to us. Yes we will be back.

Very helpful staff! They gave us a ride to Stony Point Diner for breakfast and were more than accommodating for all our needs. Restrooms and showers were top notch. What makes this Marina extra special in my opinion are the beautiful pool area- HUGE pool and magnificent views and the restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed the music. The food was amazing- compliments to the chef.

We returned here because we were there 2 years ago. This time was a big disappointment. It is 5 star pricing for a 2 (or one) star experience. Among other things, half the dock lights are out, the fire extinguisher cases on the docks are all broken, there is flashing missing from the dock house, the paint is chipping everywhere, and the pool looked like it had not been cleaned in 2 weeks. We were told after we left that the town owns the land and has already stated that they were not going to renew the lease so Safe Harbor has made the decision to not invest further. I'm not sure if it is true but the lack of maintenance is VERY evident. We will not return.

They tell me that 2 docks are open and I set up my boat for port and there is a boat in that slip. Then I go and turn on the power and the power is shut off. Next is that the key fob does not let me in at the pool. So I have to wait for someone to enter or leave. I got there on Monday night at 5:30 and the office is already closed. They really need to have someone on board late if they want to run a business like this to take care of problems like this. They seem to be very unorganized but they want a lot of money for there services. I fell that the right thing to do is to get a refund.

We were impressed with the staff friendliness and assistance. Bathrooms were clean. Slips had plenty of room. The pool needs some painting. The docks could use some illumination to see the edges better at night. The welcome bag and contents were much appreciated. Overall a very nice stay.

Excellent Customer Service. Upon arrival we were greeted by the dock master and deck hand. Zach was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The marina is well maintained and very clean. The pool was perfect and refreshing. The restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back.

I love Save Harbor Haverstraw. We have been members of the Marina for 29 years. Since Safe Harbor has taken ownership, there have been many improvements to the Marina and property. You can see tremendous changes and a sense of pride by these positive changes. We love visiting all the Safe Harbors on The Sound as well.

The minimum boat LOA is 20ft.
Please note: at Safe Harbor Haverstraw there is no long term dockage allowed. Complimentary use of the pool for Safe Harbor Marina Members is included with their stay. Pool daily rate for non-Safe Harbor Marina Members is $30 per boat.
