Ashley & dock hands were wonderful! Numerous texts with detailed pictures of approach to fuel dock & slip location were critically helpful. Would highly recommend! Only down side was fuel price … off season, they were the only option open - but the people more than made up for it! 🥰

The docks are in great shape, but directions and maps into the marina could use improvement. Telling me our slip is "down the fairway" was not descriptive enough. Is that the fairway outside the marina, or the Fairway between Dock A and B or between B and C? The online map shows the docks, but no orientation to which way they run. Listing land and or creek on the map would be helpful. Also, slip numbers on the slips would be helpful and listing slip number range on the Dock A, Dock B and Dock C signs would help. May also suggest that dock staff train by going out in a small boat and following on shore directions exactly to see how their directions over the radio can be confusing. They were quick to get on dock to direct, but I like to have a heads up prior where we were going. Also, marina staff said they would send a map of our slip, never received it. My last training suggestion is to let dock staff know the places that boaters need to know about, where is the office, where can we pick up packages, where is the shower room, where is the laundry room. Did appreciate getting gate codes ahead of time, but no one pointed out where they were located. Monetary tips to dock staff were lost because of this, and office staff didn't offer this information either. Staff seem willing, but need more training and coaching. As said before, docks are nice, laundry, bathroom and showers are functional, but could use updating.

This is a great marina with new docks and good facilities. Ashley Trotter, the dockmaster is very customer oriented and she made sure that our stay was good. She runs a great operation and we will definitely stop there again next summer. Definitely Five Stars!

Repeat stay at this excellent marina, great dockhands and staff, awesome restaurant on site, with several more within walking distance. Food Lion within walking distance for providers.

Ashley and team did a great job and professionalism. They texted me a slip photo, and marina info so I could access it on my phone. They assisted us docking the boat. They are trained well at this marina. 5 different marinas in 5 days and this was the best location for staff.

Andrew and staff are great. Very nice marina and well taken care of. Can't wait to get back.

Easy to find and good marina!

Absolutely superlative staff led by Ashley. Dock staff - Andrew, Andrew, Owen, and others always there to help land or lend a hand. Plans for future improvements in place re: bathhouse renovation. Great location. Only 3 miles to the Norfolk Airport.

The staff keep the fuel dock open after their normal close for us. They were very helpful with every aspect of our stay.

Nice new piers! Friendly and helpful staff. Ashley drove us to a bike shop to get a new tube...in her own car. On the drive she pointed out lots of nearby shops, restaurants, and things to see. Having Stony's bar and grill almost on site is a great advantage -- good food and great drinks.

Really excellent Marina, the staff were all very nice and helpful, and the docks and equipment were in super shape. Would not hesitate to stop here again.

We are at Morningstar for an emergency stop after engine issues on our blue water sail from SC to MA. The marina has been great. Ashley is terrific and all of the staff have been friendly and helpful. The resturant, Stoney’s, has great food. We feel very fortunate to be here under difficult circumstances. While we look forward to getting back underway, I can see making this a regular place to visit during our transits up and down the coast.

Litttle Creek has beautiful docks in a well protected basin. Great restaurant and dockhands. Ashley personifies customer service.

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and her staff as I moved by boat from MA to NC. My initial reservation had to be moved 3 times since weather held us up in NJ for 2 days. In that time I received follow-up emails confirming they would have room for me when I finally arrived. Most important, when I did arrive, their staff directed me to fuel docks, helped with the slip and always had a smile. I would highly recommend you choose Little Creek, you will not be dissapointed....

Staff are available, friendly, and responsive, promptly attending to people, vessels, and the facility.
