Safe Harbor Greenport

We only had one reason for 4 stars in lieu of 5 because the pump out boat operator was not available Thursday or Friday and there is no pump out available on gas dock or any dock. Otherwise a great stay and dock hands were fantastic. Dock master was very responsive and very pleasant.

Great stay! Dock master and dock staff are fabulous, friendly and very willing to accommodate and provide a welcoming experience. Will definitely be back!

At $500+ for each night, it did not meet expectations. The dock staff could benefit from more experience. They were confused on arrival. The bathrooms were a mess, obviously not cleaned for days. No toilet paper. The pool was closed yesterday. On the positive side, WiFi and shore power were great in a quiet/protected slip (D6) and grill nearby.

Awesome stay at SH Greenport. Billy's by the Bay is a great locals bar and seafood joint. Snow crab, soft shell crab, bloody Mary's, and wings were great. SH staff and facilities were clean and easily accessible. Pool was a nice amenity to cool off every few hours. Greenport is a moderate walk away, but an easy Uber or bike ride. Great stay.

Marina is well tucked behind Sandy Beach. Provisions are not near marina; a mile+ to nearest IGA located in town. Dinghy Dock is at the southern end of the RR station which is on the outskirts of Greenport. No courtesy transportation available at marina. You can order a bike for $35 a day from Dans. No car rental nearby. Generally marina quiet and clean. Restaurant on property has music until 10 on weekends. Bathrooms clean. Laundry was $2.00/1.00.

Another pleasant stay at SH Greenport. When I want to get away for a day or two that’s where I head. The accommodations are always comfortable and the staff pleasant and accommodating. The dock manager, Liam, is especially helpful and kind. It’s an easy bike ride into Greenport town center, which tends to be busy during peak season. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to make it a destination. I especially enjoy breakfast at Crazy Beans, a classic diner. For dinner and loud band entertainment Billys On The Bay , at the marina, is worth a visit. The fresh seafood is perfect. The Hellenic Snack Bar and Restaurant is an ambitious bike ride east of the marina, but well worth dining at. It has become much more upscale over the 25 years I’ve been going there. My boating season is not complete without a stay at SH Greenport. Mitch

We have stayed here many times and always enjoy our visit. Great marina with excellent service, every time. And Billys by the Bay is a great addition to the property.

Changes our plans due to bad weather from block to Greenport safe harbor giving us access to the town of Greenport which was a great decision. Dock hands and dock master really helpful, good WiFi (important when it’s raining for 2 days), easy walk to town. Was also nice they had block ice!

Christian, the Dockmaster, was excellent and helped us get fueled up and situated in our slip quickly.

We always have a great time at Safe Harbor Greenport. Live music at Billy‘s, and a quick trip to downtown with our bicycles always makes our stay convenient. Liam is an asset for Safe Harbor Greenport.

Second time staying there. Very accommodating staff. Clean restrooms. And Billie's Bar & Grill was fun!

4.5 stars. We enjoyed our overnight stay very much. Clean and well kept marina. Great views. Staff was friendly. Fresh flowers in the ladies room and private showers. Pool and restaurant on site. Complementary coffee in the morning. Finger piers at every slip, including gas and electric. Seasonal members friendly and welcoming.

The marina/BoatYard is lovely. Well maintained docks. Water and electricity are good. Clean facilities. Swimming pool is a bit dated but fine.The food at Billy's by the Bay is not worth the paper plates it's served on. Make other arrangements.
