Very nice marina with all the amenities needed clean bathrooms and nice lounge. Would only suggest a shaded area for tables and grill area. Would definitely come back.

The dock master, Liam was very accommodating. The bathroom and showers were kept very clean. The marina staff were helpful.

Safe Harbor Greenport is one of my “go to” marinas away from homeport, Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina, Westbrook CT. I’ve been here several times and always enjoy my stay. It’s an easy half day sail across the LIS for me. This time I’m using it as my last layover on the way back on my 2 week Fall Cruise to Edgartown, MV. After 2 weeks on anchor and mooring it’s such a luxury to be tied up to a nice dock with shore power and a hot shower.
As always, dock manager Liam was most accommodating. I especially appreciated his prompt confirmation of a transient slip, made the morning of my arrival. I was in the Block Island Sound headed to Coecles Harbor, Shelter Island, but decided that full marina services would be nice. Dock crew, Tom, was waiting for me at my assigned slip (facemask on) and made tie-up very easy.
I’ll be back, next season.

Christian, the dockmaster, was helpful in securing our reservation. He got us get settled into our slip with ease. We needed help with a couple of things and Christian was knowledgeable and available. The dock hands, while friendly, seemed inexperienced, perhaps needing more OJT under the tutelage of Christian.
One faucet and one shower were out of service while we were there. Ways to report problems were posted; good idea.
Pool was quiet and grills were clean.
All-in-all, a great experience!

We booked a two night stay and we came back from our day on the water (8:30pm) there was a boat in the slip we had for the first night. No one on site nor available by phone. We took another slip and prayed the rightful owner did not come back. They didn’t. Otherwise nice marina and staff.

Nice place to stay for 2 nights at SH Greenport! The Dock Master and staff were very helpful and responsive in docking directions and getting us safely tied up. Straight in approach was pretty straight forward. Very sheltered, so little wind or current to worry about! Well maintained docks. Bathrooms/showers were okay, however the ones further from the dock, near Billy's By the Bay were much better and more private! Billy's By the Bay, where Jimmy Buffet would have been very comfortable, was a great hang, with excellent local seafood and a big selection of specials! All very good! Take the dinghy to town at the free town dock or as we did, bicycle into town and ride the really cool Carousel! It was a standout on our month long sail around the islands! Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay at Safe Harbor Greenport! Ideal location in protected harbor with plenty of amenities. Super helpful staff facilitated day stay for Safe Harbor visiting member. Fuel at discounted rates for members as well. Highly recommend!

We were very excited to finally get back into Greenport after being shut out the last 2 seasons. However I feel like the marina needs some sprucing up. There was only 1 working shower in the womens head. Pool area was nice though. It was disappointing that there was no longer a courtesy van. Dock staff was nice, however at Essex Island the dock staff was a cut above….staying to connect our electric and really went above and beyond in other areas. That being said, we did have a wonderful time !

Honestly a little disappointing! Women’s bathroom only had one working shower and sink, self pump out didn’t work, they no longer have a shuttle to town and due to the rain the manager didn’t want to test pool to open it.

Hello Katie, we apologize immensely for not fulfilling your needs as a marina during your stay. You are 100% correct that the one woman’s room facility was not functional, which you will be pleased to hear is repaired and functioning. We would like to point out that there are several other bathrooms on the property that were operational. Just to clarify, we have a pump-out boat that our members and guests can schedule. We don’t offer a self pump-out station, so I am a little worried about where this information was gleaned. As far as a van shuttle service, this has not been offered for several seasons now, but we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We do apologize that you were unable to use the pool during your stay, but your health and safety mean a lot to us, and as you mentioned, due to the inclement weather, it was closed. We apologize, but I am sure you will understand that safety does take priority. Lastly, as you are not a member, we felt it was only right to refund your stay. Safe Harbor Greenport is a fantastic marina, dock staff is very helpful and Christian leads the team in a great way. We always enjoy our trip to Greenport. The marina and Billy's By The Bay are an awesome combination.
