Great moorings, well-protected even in a strong breeze. They are pricey but well worth it for the visit to Nantucket. The launch is expensive at $9pp but we found taking the dinghy to the town dock was just as easy.

Great experience at Nantucket Mooring. Helpful staff and very easy to locate moorings. Beautiful location just outside the boat basin. Convenient options with launch service or town dinghy dock. Excellent communication with the marina staff. We enjoyed our experience and thank the staff for their great support. Our third trip this summer - great crew and service.
We returned a couple of times in 2024 and 2025. As always, the team did a great job, easy to find the mooring location - and great options for a tender or using the Harbor Launch. A+

Ok, they weren’t around so harbor master said pick any mooring. The town bathrooms by the dinghy dock are horrible, with all the money they take in they can update them. It’s been like that for at least eight years.

Was told by Nantucket moorings launch was running until 9 pm; when in fact it ran until 5 pm; we had to drop the moorings and rent a slip

As all the other reviews state, this is a great operation. The service and communications are excellent. In my little 25 ft. motorsailor, I was treated just as well if not better than those in their mega yachts. The price is what it is- it's Nantucket after all, the land of the $14 ice cream cones!

I was blown away by the staff here. They helped bring us to our mooring ball by following one of their boats. They gave us a run down of place and services they offer. Later in the day another gentleman came by to check in and answer more questions about the area and even where we could ride our bikes. He recommended restaurants along the way. So nice! The staff here deserves 10 stars! We will definitely be back. We had such a great time! Thanks NM!

Wonderful harbor. Plenty do do ashore. Great place to just hang out on the boat. The downside is the cost. Mooring was about $125 per night. Nearby, Edgartown is about $55 per night. Launch service was excellent but also pricey. Anyway, we had a nice visit. We would visit more often if it was more reasonable.

We always love and appreciate the hospitality of Nantucket Moorings. We stay with them every year, sailing up to Nantucket from The Hamptons. They are communicative, they always give us a great assignment and they lead us to our mooring. They answer any questions or situations that may arise. This particular week in which we stayed, there was a hurricane passing, creating high NE winds in the harbor. The launch was closing up for a few days. We left our boat and found accommodations on land. We felt completely confident Nantucket Moorings were strong and safe and would hold our boat in the storm. And we communicated several times with the staff. They were on top of it. We look forward to our stay with them next summer. A huge Thank You to the efficient and kind team of Nantucket Moorings!

Amazing as always, Nantucket is just spectacular and the moorings staff are so attentive. We rode out the winds from the offshore hurricane on the mooring safely.

Very helpful and courteous staff. The moorings are in excellent condition, and the mooring field is well laid out and easy to navigate. The launch service (run by others) is also top notch. Come here and be spoiled for life. SV Saoirse.
About Nantucket Moorings
We have 125 moorings available in Nantucket Harbor and we can accommodate boats up to 85' in length. In high season (July & August) between the hours of 8am - 4pm, call us (Channel 68 VHF) as you approach the Brant Point lighthouse and we will meet you and escort you to your reserved mooring. If arrival time is after 4pm prior arrangements need to be made. Advance reservations are encouraged, however transient visitors may be accommodated on a first come/first served basis. We offer nightly rates.
Please Note: July 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th are all subject to 3-night minimums. All other dates for 2025 are subject to a 2-night minimum. This means that no matter if you select one night, the minimum night charge requirement will still apply.
