Mitchell Park Marina

Bathrooms are so far from the boats. Not very convenient

We reserved this marina for six nights to attend the INA Rendezvous last week. We have stayed at this marina for several Off-Soundings race events in the past and always enjoy returning. Mitchell Park offers great amenities, and the staff are friendly and accomplished in their docking skills. Bathroom facilities are adequate and cleaned regularly. Whatever our group needed, they were more than happy to accommodate. Due to weather, we needed to extend our stay one more night, which was not a problem for them, even allowing us to stay in our same slip. We look forward to visiting again for Off-Soundings in September.

Staff were helpful, email info prior to arrival was great,no one to help after 5pm, the office closes...staff are gone .....mens bathrooms were not so clean, toilets were gross, showered were good....lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance

We just spent a week at Mitchell Park Marina and had a great experience. The dockhands were extremely responsive and did an excellent job coordinating docking when a large number of boats arrived at the same time. The management team was also very responsive and flexible. When bad weather kept us in Greenport an extra day, they were happy to accommodate us and extend our stay. Mitchell Park Marina in an ideal location. Restaurants, shops, and other attractions are all within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient for visiting boaters. We would definitely recommend Mitchell Park Marina to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting Greenport.

Having 2 dock hands assisting in docking and departure was superb. The marina is in a good location and did not notice any wake in our slip. We had a great time in Greenport also. We definitely will be coming back .

Excellent experience from beginning to end! We were part of a 35 boat Nonsuch Rendezvous and we couldn't have felt more welcome by Mitchell Park's team! We requested a bow-in portside tie-up months in advance. When the slip was assigned it was exactly that. The docks are floating concrete in excellent condition. The dockhands are courteous and friendly. The Dockmaster professional and accommodating. At the last minute before we were to leave we decided we needed to stay another night due to the weather. Without hesitation the Dockmaster said "no problem, stay in your current slip, you're all set!". The pump-out boat operators responded quickly and arrived with a smile. There is also a self-serve pump-out station that is available 24/7 if it is before/after the boat's hours. The station works well, just proceed carefully as the area may be a little tight due to some larger boats docked nearby, but it was fine. You do need to tie to the pilings here as there are no cleats - again, not a problem. Mitchell Park Marina is a 2-5 minute walk to everything in Greenport! There are restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, shopping, convenience stores (for ice, etc) and a very well stocked IGA from which to re-provision. Visit the Maritime Museum (2 minute walk) - while small, it gives a great history of Greenport and the Eastern end of Long Island. There is sufficient space between boats in the slip (and we have a 12' beam) and while the fairways may seem a bit narrow to some, they are wide enough if you proceed slowly, and the dockhands are there if you need them. We went in and out multiple times, a few times with decently breezes blowing and had no issues, especially with a slip neighbor or two waiting to catch a line. We would stay here again without hesitation!!

I attended a 35 boat rendezvous event for Nonsuch Sailboats last week at Mitchell Park Marina. We stayed a week. I can't think of a better facility for our event. Staff are polite and capable. Facilities were kept clean throughout the day. And the town of Greenport has much to offer... a variety of reasonably priced restaurants, a grocery store, many shops and interesting points of interest. We rented a roller rink to use as an assembly hall got the 100+ sailors that attended. Many thanks to Mitchell Park Marina and the town of Greenport. We will return.

Outstanding attention to our group’s requests and fantastic dock hands. The location is perfectly situated in town with access to everything. I’ll be back!

Was attending a gathering of similar sailboats. The marina was very accomidating to our group. Many of use needed to extend our stay due to weather and MPM allowed us to rearrange ourselves so as to fit us all in wthout compromising their need to handle incoming reservations.

Marina’s location is its best asset. They were very responsive to some last minute reservation requests. Greatly appreciated their service. Thank you Mitchell Park Marina! Russ

We love Mitchell park. Dockhands are super helpful and friendly. Only reason for the 4 stars is the showers need to have a vent or something because it gets really hot and steamy in there to the point where you have to take a cold shower to not overheat.

Great marina, docks are in excellent condition. Dockhands are skilled and knowledgeable. Fantastic walking access to so many shops and restaurants. Most flexible refund policy of any marina we've even stayed at, which makes managing weather much less stressful.

Really nice facility. There were a lot of transient dayboaters calling when we arrived looking for a spot to tie up, but dockhands were quick to respond on the radio and quick to tie up. Note, there is a LOT of surge that comes into this marina. It felt like we were at sea during the day. Most of this is due to large boat wakes going down the river. It's not intolerable, but certainly not dead calm.

Location is great right in the middle of town but the rocking is constant in the entire marina due to the ferry next to it which runs 5am to midnight.

Deck hands were very helpful. Very glad to be on C dock. Hoping to get in for the maritime festival. Thx again
