I used to stay in the inner harbor, but it was always a pain. I am a Carousel convert. Easy in, easy out and the crew there could not have been more helpful. The assigned mooring was clearly communicated and easy to find. A+ all around and highly recommended.

My experiences at Boothbay Harbor during my third summer of visits have consistently been positive. The marina's exceptional quality, including its clean facilities and restaurant, is noteworthy. The moorings are equipped with easily accessible and clean pendants. Furthermore, Evan, Jaxs, and their crew consistently provide exceptional service, creating a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of family. Thank you! See you in August or September. ❤️⛵️

Our stay was just what we needed. Des was warm and welcoming. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Laundry was cheap. Drinks/food at the Whales Tale was delicious. We'll be back!

We reserved a mooring ball with no problem. We visited the large easily accessible fuel dock and were helped by Luke. Tied with no issues, refueled and then picked up our mooring.
We didn’t use any facilities but walked into town about 20 minutes over a cute foot bridge l.
Lots of restaurants to choose from.

Great little marina with friendly staff and clean amenities. Great on-site restaurant. We were lucky and stopped there the day after the completion of a 4 day tuna fishing tournament, so all of the restaurants had great fresh tuna.
Cute little town- all very easily accessible from the marina.
Will absolutely return the next time we are passing through!

Evan and the entire marina staff were incredibly helpful, resourceful, and friendly. They were able to help us with several services: refilling our propane, getting our bottom scrubbed, etc. The mooring balls were in good condition and the showers and restrooms were clean and well appointed. Boothbay Harbor is also a real treat. A wonderful smattering of Maine restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely be back to Carousel Marina.

About Carousel Marina
Carousel Marina is the first marina on your right when entering Boothbay Harbor. The marina was recently purchased by new owners in June 2022. Carousel Marina now is run by a young & dedicated family who has been working tirelessly this winter to upgrade all interior and exterior amenities. Our on-site restaurant, The Whale’s Tale is also open 7 days a week for your convenience May through October! All docks have been rebuilt to create a safer and more appealing environment. The updated interior amenities now include a provision market, 24/7 shower and bathroom access, zoom rooms for those who are working remotely during their ocean adventures, and a complete redesign of the ship store. Please come and stay with us in 2023 to enjoy the much needed improvements!
