Marlin Bay Resort & Marina

Beautiful and well maintained marina, great location easy in and out, staff was awesome, in slip pump outs, pool, pool bar and club house accommodations were really nice, will be back. 2nd visit was even better, we shall return!!

This is a nice dockage with good employees. The pool is great and the pool bar has fun activities each afternoon. Wifi is good. There should be better access to land showers. There is only one and you need to be escorted to it. Laundry needs an appointment since it is in such demand from the cruisers with long term dockage.

Was just an OK stop over for a few nights. Typically, when we make a reservation through Dockwa, once we get the email confirmation of our reservation that is the end of it until we call on the radio for docking instructions. For some reason we got a call from the marina, wanting to know all of our credit card and billing information, and then a Call the day before our arrival for an ETA and one on the day of arrival for an ETA. Was told I needed the ETA so they could be ready for us when we arrived, but we did get there. There were other boats in front of us, which is certainly understandable. We shared the end of the dock with a bunch of birds and there stink. Swimming pool was OK but the hot tub was out of order and was told it had been a few weeks waiting for parts. Also, at most resort type marinas we stay, bicycles, and paddle boards and kayaks are all complementary. At Marlin Bay there is an extra fee for each. Even at the pool, they only sold sun black rather than having a complimentary pump bottle of it. The staff was cordial and helpful.

This is a hidden gem. A small resort. Well maintained. No restaurant but there are plenty near by.

Marlin bay resort was a gorgeous atmosphere. The pool, hot tub, bar, and staff was very friendly. Tom was a great bartender! We arrived by motor vessel and stayed on are vessel in the marina. We are on a 53' carver with a 5' draft. Once we arrived, the slip was great, however arriving wasn't the best. There are no channel markers leading into the marina and we hit bottom and stirred up sand a few times. One of the dock masters, A, was very patient with us and stayed on the phone directing us in and also helped us dock due to a bow thruster issue. If it wasn't for A, we would have canceled the reservation due to stress. Once we were there, we also asked quiet a few team members and people on the best way to exit back to the channel. Kaya, April, Madison, and Phil each had great input on helping us. Another thing we thought was a little disappointing was that we thought we were able to use the bikes and paddleboards offered for free, but it was only for people staying in the actual resort. It wasn’t offered to people staying on their boat.

Excellent resort and marina. Staff was great, Tomas, A, Kathy and Kia the Harbor Master were all great. First rate service and facility. I hope in the future they will include a laundry room for those in the marina.

They even have 5 stars in their logo. It is accurate ! God blessed us with the best slip in the marina ( with Kia’s expertise also or was it April ( she’s an expert too) I just can’t remember who took our reservation! Andrew and Tomas and Brian and Katy and Madison and Buffalo and Jayce ( may have his name wrong -amazing helper I met )were competent and willing to help at any time !!! From the top management to the bottom workers they were all excellent. We had an amazing bartender named Sara. She made being at the bar a fun experience. The drinks were perfectly crafted and worth the price !!! We played with making different kinds of drinks to try! One even made the special for the day !!! We witnessed each person being obviously happy in their work! Kia’s presence and her continual support during our stay made the difference between good and great !!!! The teamwork and pride they have was on point ! The pool was the best ever! Sun, Shade, Deep, or Super shallow areas are available!! As well as umbrellas, music, floats( if pool not too crowded ) and it was not. I had the pool to myself sometimes ! The hot tub was HOT. 104. Like it’s supposed to be and plenty of jets too!!! The slip was perfect. The grounds were impeccable! The daily sand manicuring was fun to watch and experience daily ! The spiral staircase to the observation tower was great. The way the views were captured by the design was awesome. I saw the green flash for the first time ever due to the sunsetting on the water horizon ! Epic ! The entire staff ( sorry if I missed someone - you all deserve recognition ) was helpful and did more than required to make our stay one that we want to repeat and will brag on for life. They cleaned the grills daily and made sure the propane was turned off at the tanks ! Everything you need is within a short walk. We did NOT want to leave! Best deal on pool towel purchases and they are great towels!! Super ship store and captains lounge and the coffee was yummy and the best cups ever! I cannot say enough good things. Try it for yourself. Ask them to give you Dan and Rebecca’s slip!!!! It’s ours for life ( when it’s not being used by someone else living “ the epic dream”

The service is outstanding and friendly. We stayed the month of March & April, we had many windy days, but we were calm in our slip. The amenities our superb.

Great Marina, two separate visits now and each time three dockhands showed up to help us tie up.

Facility is very nice. Well-equipped and well-maintained. The only negative is that there was no bartender at the poolside bar for most of the 4 days we were there.

Stayed here Nov 21-Nov 23. Beautifully kept marina. The property is gorgeous, the docks are in excellent shape. We were in the inner basin the water was calm and the views were breathtaking. The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people you could hope for. The pool area is an oasis with a bar and games area. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay.
