Not the fanciest, but one of the best marinas I've ever stayed at. Starting with docking, Vivian and the dock team were right on it, professional and not their first rodeo. The facilities are CLEAN! Nice private bathroom/showers. They provide courtesy towels and even shampoo. Free laundry is a nice convenience, with provided detergent and dryer sheets. A courtesy golf cart let's you get into the quant town for provisioning, hardware store or other odds and ends. Great restaurants in town. We ate at the Mexican restaurant Mariachi.
The marina is readily accessible from the ICW. I would definitely stay here again.

Be careful of water depth alongside the long dock. Informed there was 9’ MLW along the dock. At the mid point the depth rapidly decreases from 10’ to 5’ of firm sand and rock. Do not back in if you need more than 5’. We need 7’ and backed the rudders and props hard aground. If you go bow in you are fine to 9’ provided props/rudders are toward the outer third of the dock. Took sounding with a pole and told Dockmaster of depth discrepancy and us striking rudders and props. She didn’t seem to comprehend the severity of the depth misinformation.

Charming little marina and town. Friendly owners. Excellent help on arrival. Spoon River Restaurant, a 3 minute walk from the marina, is world class: call for a reservation.

Absolutely worth stopping! From the first call I had with Vivian, I knew this was the place. Nice docks, beautiful deck and rooftop deck, free laundry, golf cart to go into town. Sean and Justin and Vivian met me to dock and were just amazing. I stayed two nights and could have easily stayed longer. I felt like family.

We come back here twice a year and it is always perfect. Great location, professional staff who also are friendly and helpful. The very clean restrooms and laundry area were a real bonus.

This was our first time staying at Belhaven. We have a 42-foot Sabre and are heading south for the winter from RI. We absolutely loved this marina. The owners are so nice, helpful and available. The complimentary golf cart was so helpful. It allowed us to restock some of our groceries. The showers/bathrooms are meticulously clean. The marina grounds are well kept. The ship store is great and there is a double decker patio to sit out on. Dock walkways are well lit at night. The area is so nice to take a morning or evening walk. The marina is literally a stone's throw to restaurants, shops and ice cream parlor. The marina is a great value for the price. We will definitely be back!!!!

Outstanding marina attached to a cute and fun little town! We had a great dinner and drinks on our way through the ICW. We are 7.5ft draft and were able to stay at the end of their wooden dock with no problems.

Great little Marina and a beautiful little town. The staff here is absolutely top notch. Great value and a really good price on diesel. Having a golf cart to run to the grocery store was perfect.

An absolute gem! We are so glad we found this place. Brad and Nicky (owners) have truly thought of everything to make cruisers comfortable from the fenders on the docks, free laundry and use of the golf cart. If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you for a great stay!

This place is MAGICAL to say the least! My family and I are take a new boat up from Charleston SC to Dartmouth MA and I can’t imagine finding a better spot on our voyage than this.
Vivian and Sean were so welcoming and happy to greet us and show us around! Washroom facilities had fresh, clean, soft towel in the bathrooms and free laundry service.
The town was very cute as well. The Spoon River restaurant was off the charts great!!
This place takes you back in time at least 50 years. Sure do miss those slower, relaxing days

Just a terrific marina and experience, highly recommend. Started with flexibility as our plans changed. Breakwater and tucked-in location provided great protection as we came in during a thunderstorm. Big turning basin to allow us to spin around easily into our slip. Every amenity possible…courtesy golf cart, in-slip refueling, free laundry, much more. Gregg was incredibly helpful and courteous. Two of the best restaurants in town that we’ve experienced on the entire loop, Spoon River and Bistro 1904…both were fabulous and easy walks. We love Belhaven. The facilities are spotless. The owner and his staff superb. Use of laundry facilities are free. Clean towels for their showers. Generally a golf cart for grocery pickup is available. It was broken last week by a guest - and the owner loaned us his personal car to use. This will be a regular stopover for us when traveling through NC.

Excellent!! We first stopped here in 2018 two days out from starting the Loop. Great surroundings, very cool detail…. Especially the shower facilities, grounds and free laundary!!
Now returning in 2024.... same excellent facilities... some improved (new fuel tanks), electrical outlets, and same great staff!
Will stay here a few days in sept on way back south.
