I am notimpressed
As a renter I have encountered several problems with management not doing their job fairly . Favoritism above professionalism is not a good work practice I highly advise anyone thinking of renting here to check elsewhere!!!!

My husband and I were going to lease a slip here. My husband turned in the application last Saturday, with my name appearing on it as well. The woman he gave it to (along with a money order) said I could've done it, since we're married. She said I could return to sign the agreement.
Everything quickly went south. The manager was agitated and couldn't find the lease, questioning me as to why the girl did not have it prepared if she told me to come and sign. She continues on in a loud and accusing tone. I'm being yelled at that I'm being untruthful. At this point I am getting loud back it appears that is the only way to get a word in because she will not stop yelling. She then calls someone to confirm that I cannot sign and begins to yell at me again "who would lease to you, you have no income, no one would ever lease to you" and "why would my assistant tell you that, she didn't". At this point I yelled back "why would I lie about this?" It was terrible. I finally yelled out "customer service, try it, it goes a long way"
I was informed that she didn't need to have any because her marina was full and she would stop our lease. I agreed, she then yelled at me to get out of the office and never return and to have a nice day. I said have a nice day and kiss my a**. She voided the agreement she refused to return the $350+ money order, my husband will need to pick that up.
She yelled at me like I was a dog and then called me a liar.

I rent at Legend point marina and visit on most weekends. I rent here due to the awesome rate and the seenery. Its not a plain parking lot or just a cement lot. You have greenery and hills everywhere to look at. The reason I have continue to stay here is many. It is a gated community and peaceful. Being that I come by on most weekends I love he fact that they have cable unlike all I have visited. Everyone here is so friendly. I recieved a flyer for a crawfish boil they were having, I attended, and it was great! Jessica, Mike and all the other long time boaters and renters made me feel right at home. Not only is this marina a great place to store your boat but also to make new friends. Thank you Mike and Jessica for all you guys do!

What a dump
The manager (J) is a real bitch, so nice when they wanted a signature on the contract, once signing, the horns come out. She threatens your credit report if you want to get out of your contract early. Her inexperienced relatives do crappy work. The bathroom, one example, a square room and square tiles. EVERY corner is off by several inches. You go in there wanting to piss and you leave wanting to throw up.
6 months later the walls are still not up, holes in the ceiling, no shower curtains. You walk the property and you see piles of wood that have been there since hurricane Ike. There are shrubs, bushes, and brush so overgrown you have to walk in the grass to get to the other side of the walkway just to get somewhere.
Listen to what people say (http://www.apartmentratings.com/rate/TX-Kemah-Legend-Point-Condos-and-Marina.html) They tricked me with cheap rates and promises of work to be completed quickly and I've hated it since. This place is truly the arm pit of Clear Lake.
For pics, look in the Houston section of craigs list and you'll see comments from time to time. Wish I did.
Look under boats or personal, rants & raves.
