Safe Harbor Narrows Point

This is our third visit to Safe Harbor Kent Island, this season. As always, the staff is very helpful as you are coming in tying up and on the premises. We have been on K Dock, G Dock and C Dock. Our experience this time on C Dock was a little more active than when we were on G and or K docks. It is closer to Red Eyes and the weekend crowd and music is festive as expected. We had easy access to the bathhouse which is behind the locked gate. Parking was right on the bulkhead within a very close walking distance of our boat. We will be back!

Very well run. Very nice Marina, well kept. We had an enjoyable time.

The staff was outstanding. The assistant that was sent to assist us at the fuel dock and into our slip was knowledgeable and courteous, as well as very helpful. We will return.

Nice place , They’ll be back . I do feel the transient slips should be behind the gated Marina fence.

Friendly staff, nicely maintained, beautiful pool, fitness center. Bathhouses clean, very nice overall.

Stayed one night, were assigned to C dock and ran aground at 3.5ft. Sailboat mind u at 5ft draft. Moved to E dock with no issues.

perfect stay, beautiful facility

The facilities and the people who work there are wonderful. It’s a quality experience. It is well managed and the customer service is wonderful. Beautiful environment and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent experience.

Facilities are really nice. Pool looked great but we arrived too late. Workers stayed late to get us fuel and pump out. Red Eyes Dock Bar had good food.

Karen was terrific setting up a last minute reservation and providing detailed information about the fuel dock, our slip and marina amenities. Nikole was gracious to stay past closing time, so we could refuel for an early start the next morning. Terrific experience after a very long day!

Would like to see Safe Harbor change their arrival time to 12:00 instead of 1:00

Our trip was great. We love being all together on C dock. The pool was beautiful as usual. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful marina well worth a visit

We were disappointed with our assigned slip as it was too small for the beam of our boat. Also there were screws and pieces of angle iron sticking out from the dock. They did offer for us to move after we were settled but it was not worth the hassle. The dock hand was good and the Marina is close to restaurants which were positives.

Fantastic marina. Big pool with a pool bar. Restaurants and bar near by. Good dog walking facilities. Well protected from wind and currents.

Marina is very nice, but 1:00pm check in and 11:00am check for the high price of slip will make me try Pinney Narrows next time.

Very nice marina, very good fuel prices and lots of amenities. Two restaurants share the parking lot with the marina and both are very good. Staff is very helpful.

A great place, and super helpful and friendly staff!

This is a nice, well protected and maintained marina with a great gym, sizable clean bath house and comfortable captain’s lounge with complimentary coffee. The pool was closed while we were there, but looked nice. There’s also a very nice walking/bike path nearby. Several restaurants are within walking distance. My 4-star rating is due only to its vibe as being sort of built around a working yard/parking lot so it’s not that scenic and there is a busy road nearby. Still, it’s a solid option if in area.

Great facility great staff

When approaching the marina I told them we would not need any help docking. As it turns out, we needed a LOT of help. There was a wicked cross current that caught us and carried us into a mud back. I called the marina back and within minutes there were three dock hands in a skiff and two more on the dock. They managed to pull us off the mud and get us lined up in the channel. They followed us to out slip and helped get us tied up and power on. They loaned us an extension power cord because ours was not long enough. Thank you to all they hands that helped us. You turned a pretty stressful situation into a pretty minor inconvenience. The marina itself is wonderful. The docks look like they have been newly planked with man--made material. The shower room is huge with individual lockers. Bring your own lock. There is a captains lounge with comfortable chairs, free soda and coffee, and a huge TV. The gym is amazing. Lots of exercise machines that look like they could have been installed yesterday. Overall, this is one of the finest marinas we have stayed at. When passing back through the Chesapeake Bay, we will certainly put this marina on the A list of places to stay.
