Bristol Yacht Club was just what we needed after a long day of sailing. We keep returning because they are always helpful and accommodating. We love it here.

Always love staying here. Calm and quiet mooring. Can take the launch to the town and select from many restaurants or go to the yacht club side and go for a nice walk.

July 28, 2024 We have stayed here many summers. Always a delight to stay here. The club is lovely and the launch provides access to Bristol. Well kept moorings. Friendly, nice experience. Thank you.

Love staying at BYC. Great facilities and great launch staff. Thanks for the hospitality!

Wonderful place to stay in the beautiful town of Bristol. Being at a mooring was excellent given the heat. There is some bouncing around since the harbor is quite exposed to the prevailing SW breeze. The harbor staff is excellent and very accommodating

The staff and club were among the best we’ve visited. Being on crutches, I especially appreciated the launch drivers who were were so competent dealing with windy, wavy conditions and were still able to help me get on and off the launch safely. The harbor is beautiful and the fireworks were an added treat

BYC was very accommodating. The launch service was fast in picking you up and I really liked how they came out to make sure you found your mooring when we arrived. We definitely will be visiting again.

First time out for 2024 season - excellent visit to Bristol Yacht Club. Their staff is always great - remembered us from last year and welcomed us back! Looking forward to many more visits this season.

Town of Bristol is famous for running America’s Oldest Fourth of July festivities. So if you’re looking to come for that weekend, reserve months in advance. The club is across the harbor from downtown, and runs two launches so transients can easily get to Independence Park, short blocks to all restaurants and shops. Club is sail-oriented…one member who grew up in the club skippered the winning boat in the 2023 round-the-world ‘The Ocean Race.’ In-season the club hosts cruises from other clubs all over New England. Sailboat races four weekday nights plus local regattas on weekends.

Very nice place to visit. People very friendly and helpful. Lots of great restaurants and things to do Be aware of the rough high wind mooring area. Wide open to the south and the wind really picks up Common knowledge to regulars into the harbor but a surprise to me.

This is a great town to visits and yacht club launch will Bantu g you to town. Great town. The only reason this does not get five stars is because Bristol Harbor isn’t well protected from any southerly wind.

What a pleasurable stay at BYC! Even with less than desirable weather, the dock staff made our stay very enjoyable—-they are very attentive to the VHF, the two lunches were always responsive and the drivers are experienced. The mooring had a nice tall pickup stick, plenty of ice in the boxes at the dock office, the showers were hot and the beer was cold. We will be back!

Stay was great… launch crew was extremely helpful getting us to dock, town and back to boat… the club house has been completely renovated and now fully open after the 2018 fire… will definitely come back!

Always a great stay! Showers, launch service that runs late enough to realistically get a nice dinner in town.

Bristol YC is a great facility with a great staff in a great harbor. I had a problem to solve with my sailboat gear and the chief steward went beyond expectations to help me solve it. BYC is highly recommended for cruising sailors.

At BYC, we welcome both visiting cruising clubs and individual cruisers. All are welcome to enjoy our easily accessible moorings and Club facilities.
