Shipyard Island Marina

Great location and nice view / quiet... outstanding customer service.

We have been visiting this marina for over 25 years. Wonderful family owned operation. Quiet with fantastic sunsets. Extremely friendly seasonal boaters. Sailors Pub adjacent to marina is not to be missed.

Tight marina but helpful tying up. Peaceful place, bathrooms clean, people friendly, Sailor Pub was very good! Courtesy car was VERY appreciated!

Service was great. Lou came and helped us land at the dock. Nice restaurant looked on property. We used the loaner car to sightsee. Dock space is very tight to maneuver and pay attention to the markers in the shipping lane.

Our stay was very nice, Andy after we made our reservation, contacted us, was on the dock when we got to the dock after a 10 1/2 hour trip, help tie us up. marina has very clean bathrooms and shower, very nice laundry facilities. Resturant on ground had very good food and very reasonable. They also have a courtesy car to use which was very nice. Marina in general was very clean. Sahara ll

After hitting ground the marina was able to obtain 2 new props and had them overnighted from FL. All work great now.

we love the Shipyard marina and try to visit at least once a Summer. Great staff and very helpful with anything you need...mechanical repairs, guidance/suggestions for the island and even a courtesy car that the transient boaters can share. very tight fit for anything over 50'. Rather shallow approach through the channel...take it slow.

Had a great time. This review is for the three boats from Sheboygan. Two slips really nice but one a little tight for a 36' but it worked out. Great service on the fuel and loved the courtesy car. That was awesome. Loved the restaurant next door. Everyone very helpful. Will be back.

It was a great location. Despite a lot of skinny water, we followed the bouys successfully to a comfortable berth. The staff were really helpful and provided all we needed to make a successful restock & overnight. We'd go there again.

Beautiful marina and everyone was amazingly helpful! We walked over to Sailors Pub and had the scallops and rib eye, it was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! Facilities are neat and clean and EVERYONE was and is personable and professional! Navigating to marina is something to be careful with, it is marked with buoys from harbor entrance, but low water makes this something to be cautious of(and is outside shipyards control) - top notch place to stay and the island is awesome from all perspectives!!

Great stay, clean facilities. 40 foot sailboat with 6ft draft and no bow thrusters, just enough depth and staff was great helping to get into the slip.

Love it here. Great food at the Sailors Pub, friendly help at the dock. No problem getting in with 5.7 draft. Line up the bouys

This was our first visit to Washington Island and staying at the Shipyard. We enjoyed using the car to explore the island along with our bikes. Andy was very responsive when we had questions and provided suggestions. We will definitely come back for another visit and stay at the shipyard. We would recommend the Sailor’s Pub for a wonderful dinner.

Friendly. Good communication before we arrived. Came out to help us land our boat. Smooth stay. Sailors pub next door was also AMAZING! Excellent food.

We arrived at the marina after office closed but Andy had messaged us with all the pertinent information about our slip assignments and access codes in advance. The marina is clean and comfortable and staff was very helpful. It takes a little courage to get there through the channel, but it’s totally worth it!

Just an overnight stay. The courtesy car was a boon, super convenient. The approach in requires a bit of attention, especially if your draft is around 8-feet. Clean restrooms and the staff is happy to assist with lines.

Great owners and staff. Very friendly and helpful. At dock pump outs and courtesy car was an added bonus.
