Safe Harbor Zahnisers

My stay at Safe Harbour Zahniesers was excellent. Helpful Dockhand - But be aware if your Slip in on F-Dock And the wind is from the south - you will smell the incredible italian food coming from the Restaurant! My only regret is that I did not wat there. Plenty of depth I draw 5'

Absolutely great. Floating docks in great shape. Spotless showers and restroom facilities. Super clean laundry room with free washers and dryers. Great Italian restaurant onsite. Easy dog walking with super close grass and an easy walk to town and other solid restaurants.

We so enjoyed our three days stay here! Took the loaner bikes and explored the area. The staff were super nice and helpful. I will say the laundry (free) were the best machines I have seen on the whole east coast and the bathhouse is great! When you are there make sure you go to the CD Cafe. Yummy! We will be back! We came back... 8.1.26 During our stay, I experienced a minor medical emergency, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the marina staff. They went above and beyond by taking me to the hospital and showing genuine care and compassion during a very stressful time. Their kindness and willingness to help meant more to us than they will ever know. We also had our generator serviced through the marina's service department, and the mechanic did an outstanding job. The entire process was professional, efficient, and handled with great attention to detail. We are truly grateful for the exceptional customer service and highly recommend this marina to anyone looking for a place where both the facilities and the people are first-class.

Great spot! Glad they put us on a dock rather than a slip, worked out perfectly. Sorry we couldn't try the restaurant, but its closed on Mondays. Ordered Doordash pizza instead! Thanks for everything!

Excellent facilities pool, grills, bicycles, and free laundry. Showers are the best I've seen. Convenient to town and restaurants. On-site restaurant is very good. Staff was very helpful with docking and getting settled.

Absolutely Awesome place, staff and setting. Just joined Safe Harbor Marinas this summer and this was our 1st Complimentary stay and it exceeded our expectations!!!

Great stay. We left this a.m. about 730 heading towards Annapolis Port Harbor Marina. Appreciate the hospitality and the help with getting into the slip tiny things off, etc..

Great marina with a pool! They had live music at the pool on Saturday afternoon and we had a ball. Facilities are in great shape and everything was clean.

The marina crew were very helpful, guiding me in and tying me up. They gave us a ride to our B&B (which was a 20 minute walk away). We used the pool there, very nice with a bar too. And there is a good restaurant there, the La Vela, we had dinner there one night.

Fabulous marina! Maya and Campbell were awesome on the docks, so friendly and very helpful and Cheryl in the office was super nice as well, loved talking with her!! This place has a huge pool, very clean, and pool bar, so convenient! They’re close to town, an easy walk or bike ride. There’s a shuttle from the marina to popular shopping areas or whatever you need at 11am and 2pm, very useful if you have no car! Appreciated the complimentary bikes, we went to a few touristy places and provisioned at the local grocery. Oh, you have to go to LaVela, the onsite restaurant! It’s amazing, like top 5 meals of my life amazing! Make a reservation, it’s small. We loved SH Zahnisers, cool resort vibe, appreciated the personal service and met some wonderful folks! Ten stars!

Very nice location on Solomons, MD. Great staff. Helpful docking, rides in and about time. Nice pool, pool bar, bath and laundry facilities. Easy in/out.

A wonderfull stay at Zahnisers in Solomons. The crew were absolutely great from handling lines and providing information on the local area. As a working marina, we are already planning to be back.

Great amenities. The bathrooms & showers were new and clean. The pool was a wonderful surprise as we'd never been to the Solomons Is location. We ordered food from the pool bar and it was really good. All around great experience.

SH Zahnisers, Solomons, is one of our favorite places. Not only is it a boaters haven, they are run my experienced people who a welcoming during your stay. Big shoutout to Dockhand David who helped us tie up and get settled. He’s the kind of person you want helping with securing your boat! I took pictures! Thank you SH Zahnisers.

Best marina on the Chesapeake Bay for amenities, cleanliness, service, helpful staff and nearby restaurants

We’ve been to Zahniser’s many times. Always good. The dock hands this time were excellent. My wife has PD's and getting on and off the boat can be difficult. Dave, the dock master had that noted and put us into a slip on a floating dock and near the ramp up to the parking lot. It was the prefect slip for us. Thanks, Dave.

Pleasant personnel, knowledgeable dock hands, clear swimming pool with restaurant/bar, top notch restaurant, heads are clean, air-conditioned, and quite nice. Floating docks are in new order and there is pleanty of room for my 43' sailboat. A great experience.

Excellent service and facilities. Office staff gave me an emergency ride to West Marine late on a Sunday to pick up a new starter battery. Definitely recommend.

2nd time stopping here. Very helpful dockhands. Facilities are clean, nice pool. Restaurant is great. Often busy but a space at the bar works.

Our four day stay at Zahnisers was fabulous. Coming in and docking were easy (32ft, 5ft draft IPY). The grounds were beautifully kept, peaceful and in great care. The team, on top of all being dog friendly, were all very kind, lovely to chat with and very welcoming. The bath houses were fantastic, along with a free beautiful laundry facility. Their ice cream chest in their onsite store was a bonus, along with their free bikes to town, and twice daily shuttle. Wish we were closer to Solomons, would have no reservations calling that our home port. Big thanks to the staff for all the pets, and dog treats, and a great stay during hot weather to break up our trip and recharge. Looking forward to being back.

Zahnisers is a great facility, now run by Safe Harbor. The bathrooms, laundry and staff are all wonderful. Unfortunately, for the 4 days we were there, the hottest of the year, the pool was "broken". We love Solomon's Island and selected Zahnisers as a major part of our vacation specifically because of the pool. They did give us a small discount because of our "troubles", which was very much appreciated. There is a great restaurant on site and others are definitely walkable/bikeable. Also, the town has Uber to help those of us without vehicles!! We'll be back...hopefully when all amenities are working!!
