Well worth the price. Stayed on a Mooring Ball. Used the laundry, showers and shuttle service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

While the mooring fee seemed a little high, $50 vs $35 a while back, each time I visit I come away happier. I used the shower and laundry combo to clean up everything in one spot, and got a jog in to the nearby West Marine. Bikes are available, as is a shuttle to the grocery, but a good jog is healthy too. As addition, I found an Ace Hardware store just 4 miles up the side road; an easy bicycle trip, just bring a basket. Free coffee until 1100!

We had a terrific stay there on Sept 30. It was very easy to navigate in and the dock staff was there to meet us and help docking. The facilities are first rate; bath house exceptional, free laundry, and on-site restaurant which we ate at. Also enjoyed walking into town along the river boardwalk and listening to the sounds of freedom from Pax NAS!

Very good. The dock staff were all very busy, as several transient boats showed up at the same time. We had the marina General Manager tying us up to the dock!

It was just a short overnight stay. The accommodations were great. Staff were friendly and professional.

The marina crew were very helpful, guiding me in and tying me up. They gave us a ride to our B&B (which was a 20 minute walk away). Very helpful and friendly!

A wonderfull stay at Zahnisers in Solomons. The crew were absolutely great from handling lines and providing information on the local area. As a working marina, we are already planning to be back.

Couldnt have been better

Nice docks, good restaurant, helpful staff, clean bathrooms, friendly people. First class all the way. We rode their bikes all over town. Highly recommend the Calvert Marine museum, La Vela and Island Hideaway

One of the best on the Chesapeake! Great clean private bath house, attentive friendly staff, nice pool with shade options, great easy access restaurants, handy courtesy bikes, wide easy access fairways for slip access. Everything is neat, clean and within easy access distance.

Clean, well kept marina, friendly staff, good location.

We called with a mechanical issue on a Saturday and they found a slip for me and first thing Monday morning the techs were hauling us, starting repairs and had parts on order before noon. Tuesday, repairs were completed and following a great meal at their restaurant, we got a good night’s sleep and were able to continue on our three week trip around the bay. We can’t say enough about their professionalism, attitude and the quality of their diagnosis and repairs. Thanks to them, we are now able to stop there for a couple days on our way back south. Great marina with very friendly staff and slip holders!

Repeat stay, love the new floating docks! Dockhand was great and very helpful. Dinner at the on site restaurant was wonderful as always. There have been many improvements since our last visit a couple of years ago. Love the new laundry room, refresh on the shower/heads and overall docks! Look forward to our next visit.

Staff and facilities are top notch. I always appreciate restrooms and showers where you have your own full bath (shower, sink, toilet) and a lockable door like at home. Great location for walking into Solomons.

The marina is very clean and the staff is wonderful. They even gave us a ride into town which was less than a mile away but it was 103 degrees out. Always a pleasant stay!
