One of our favorite port-o-call on the East coast. Modern well kept slips, professional and friendly staff. Restaurants and shops (golf & tennis, walking & biking) close by and an easy crawl home to the boat after a cocktail…… or 10. Alan, the dock hand was excellent in helping us with our lines and fenders. Very freindly, personable and professional. Grett slip . . . clean area . . .rode our bikes to South Beach Marina . . . fun area. We'll be back. Thank you.

This has always been one of my favorite marinas. Have been coming here for over 20 years on various past boats. The Dockmaster Leslie has always been fantastic. We arrived on our boat and had an issue with shore power. Voltage was too high at the pedestal and our electrical system wouldn’t allow the power in. (270v). They slid us down to another pedestal and we got it working (261volts.). Around 5 pm the voltage spiked to 273 volts and my shore power stopped working again. I notified the marina the dock hand told me it was probably my boat they hadn’t had issues with that pedestal before but I was ok to run my generator. I went in the next morning and informed the Dockmaster and she said they would not charge me for my shore power cord. I tried to show them my photos showing the high voltage but they weren’t interested. I didn’t ask for any further discounts but I wasn’t impressed with the fact I didn’t even get an apology or acknowledgment that their dock is having an electrical issue. It was not what I expected.

A great place to stop. The area is well taken care of. The docks are in good shape. The power was great. The Staff were great. The location has lots to offer. The marina is well protected, we sat there through Hurricane Helene.

Very expensive. I think people with large boats are feeling taken advantage of. As for many of me and many of my friends that own large boats, we are considering other options.

For more than 50 years, the red and white striped Harbour Town Lighthouse has welcomed visitors to one of the most unique and beautiful places on earth. Located in the heart of The Sea Pines Resort, and ideally situated on Hilton Head Island's captivating Calibogue Sound, the Harbour Town Yacht Basin is recognized as a premier yachting destination on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. The full-service marina welcomes boaters year-round and offers slip rentals and sales, fuel, professional yacht sales and brokerage dealer, as well as a friendly, experienced staff.

Developer Charles Fraser, considered the pioneer of Hilton Head Island, led the team that constructed the Harbour Town Yacht Basin in 1969. Inspired by a harbour in Portofino, Italy, Fraser's vision for the basin was to attract mariners to Hilton Head Island, while preserving the island's natural landscape. His unique vision resulted in a design that preserved centuries-old hardwoods, in lieu of additional slips, and included the construction of the island's iconic Harbour Town Lighthouse.
