Marina docks are A+, floating with adjustable cleats. Plenty of room to dock and maneuvers your vessel. Tony and team were there to help dock, tie up and hook into power. All the people on staff were pleasant and accommodating. They explained all the details of the marina and Navy Pier and certain discounts offered to marina guests. Highly recommend.

Awesome new marina! Easy in and out, brand new floating trex docks, well staffed. We will be back!!

Amazing place and setting! We sailed across the lake to get to Navy Pier and had a wonderful time. So much to do in walking distance and many local transportation options as well. The marina is brand new and very well thought out. Staff were helpful. It is a bit pricey but not out of line for the setting. There were a couple of things not ready yet but I didn't let that reflect in my review. Wifi is on the way and the laundry wasn't up and running yet. Spectacular place!

The marina is in the perfect location. Its location gives an amazing opportunity to see and enjoy the heart of Chicago. Being able to easily access all that Navy Pier has to offer is great, and being able to catch the fireworks as well as the drone show above Nascar was a bonus. Adversely, when arriving to the marina, we did phone ahead as per our email, yet when we arrived, there was still some confusion on where we should dock. There was a dingy in the slip that im assuming should not have been there. Also, there was no hot water for showers and the bathrooms were unavailable from 12:30am to 5:30am for repairs to assist with that issue. There were problems with the gates. After returning to the docks from a walk, I was able to just walk onto the pier without putting in the code. The ship store should have more to offer. It would also be a good idea to sell Navy Pier Marina memorabilia. Which is not particularly safe with all the foot traffic in the area. Overall, I would definitely come again, but maybe next year after all the kinks have been worked out. I did appreciate the transient pricing. It didn't break the bank.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful dock! I loved everything about the location except the WAKE! It made for an extremely difficult night 😖- Definitely worth pulling up for a couple hours to hang out and enjoy the pier, but I will not be doing it again overnight.
Marina Response:
Thank you for your feedback. We have had very quiet and relaxing nights in the marina since we opened. With yesterday's high winds a boat could rock in any marina. I have personally slept onboard almost every night since June 13th and not once was it anything but relaxing and enjoyable. We hope you will try again another time.

Dockhands are plentiful. Where I docked the bow cleat was about 15 feet in front of my bow i asked to move the cleat closer and they had it changed in 5 minutes. The dock is brand new so the facilities are very clean. Wednesday and Saturday nights are going to be busy so book early :).

Echo many of the other reviews. We were there 4 nights. Incredible location. The people are fantastic and as helpful as they could be. GM Mark is great. Phones were answered immediately. The physical docks are great with adjustable cleats. Plenty of power/water pedestals. We had old boat/new pedestal power issues, but that's on us. No WiFi and poor cell service. From pre-arrival through our stay we were told the wifi would be up and running within a day. Just be honest and say it'll be a week or so. They don't even have the equipment installed; just poles. We relied on cellular hotspots; that struggled, most likely due to the crowds - again not the marinas issue. We definitely plan on coming back.
Marina Response:
Thank you for your feedback. We have diligently tried to keep our customers informed of any amenity delays. WiFi is the last thing coming our way just as soon as Comcast activates our already installed fiber network. We will continue to keep everyone posted on our Dockwa account so there are no surprises. We look forward to welcoming you back!

Brand new so some difficulties expected... no hot water, no ice, no 10 pm boater/music noise curfew, no small bench or table in showers to set your toiletries on.....but friendly staff! They just need to work out a few kinks. Beautiful dockage!
Marina Response:
We appreciate your feedback. We regret there was a boat that came in loud that evening and took steps to quiet them down as quickly as possible. And yes, our hot water was a problem for two days after we opened due to a plumbing error. We had that corrected overnight (1AM-4AM) once we learned of the ongoing issue. We made every accommodation we could in the interim and apologize for any inconvenience. The hot water is flowing, so please come back and enjoy the marina when your schedule permits.

This marina is a great place to stay in Chicago. We stayed 3 nights and found the staff and docks 1st class. We were checked on by the staff many times during our stay to see if they could get us anything. The accessibility to restaurants and shops on Navy pier is incredible. We were there on a weekend and had a more than comfortable stay.

A Perfect 10 Marina Experience at Navy Pier From the moment we arrived at Navy Pier Marina, it was clear this was a first-class operation. Harbormaster Mark runs an incredibly tight ship—professional, attentive, and always available to assist. Owner Randy Podolsky has created something truly special here, and it shows in every detail. The dock hands were outstanding—friendly, efficient, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The security and safety of the marina are top-notch, giving us complete peace of mind throughout our stay. The entire facility is a perfect 10. Clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, it’s easily one of the best marinas we’ve ever visited. We were so impressed that we’ve already booked several more stays this season. Being located right at Navy Pier is a huge bonus. The food offerings were fantastic, with plenty of great options for the whole family. And the entertainment for the kids? Absolutely excellent—there’s never a dull moment. Five stars aren’t enough. This marina has set a new standard. Highly recommended!

Still Under Construction... I was counting on several of the amenities listed, but to my disappointment they were not available: NO Bathrooms NO Showers NO Laundry NO Pump-out NO Ice Additionally - I was assigned to dock 8 where there was quite a bit of wake to deal with. The boat at times was violently rocking and uncomfortable. drinks spilling etc. It may have been better to put the smaller boats further east where some of the turbulence from the opening was less of an issue. Access- the angled docks make stern entry difficult. This affects us with mobility issues as well as loading stuff on to the boat. I had planned to spend the night on the boat but was concerned about the sea state at the dock and had to uber home and back instead, adding additional cost to an already expensive mooring that I could not used as planned. The docks seem to be set up for larger boats 50+ but we did what we could to make the best of it... Please communicate what's actually available. This experience was a big disappointment.

Terrific experience, and the staff was next level. Location is very safe and secure with an amazing view day or night of the city with a one minute boat ride to either the playpen or lock into the Chicago river. Can't wait to book again!!!

Great dockhands, great staff, everyone was very helpful and professional. Although the boater's facility and bath house was still under construction we had a very nice stay. The new docks are amazing. The location at Navy Pier is prefect to see the city and convenient to shopping and restaurants.

First class! Facilities are great but what is even better is the staff. Management has hired and trained a staff that not only understands "Customer Service" but excels at it. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, available, and so much more. Add all that to immediate access to the entire Navy Pier community and you have a definite 5 star marina.
Marina Response:
Thank You Phil It was our pleasure you stayed with us, and we look forward to your next visit. Fair winds and following seas!

We had a great stay. The marina is in its infancy and is still working on the finishing touches for use at being full service, such as bath house accommodations The staff was very accommodating and friendly! We enjoyed how close everything was and in walking distance.

Thank You Christopher, It was our pleasure you stayed with us, and we look forward to your next visit. Fair winds and following seas!
