Navy Pier marina is a great location and very nice facility. We have used for overnight which was great. The stop and go fee's on the other hand now outrageous. We were charged $60 to pick someone up from pier and then have to pay $60 to drop them off. Will be looking for other alternatives.

We appreciate your feedback, however there is nowhere to pick up passengers in Chicago that charges less than $50 for a touch & go. The rest is city tax we do not control. These new, modern facilities are NOT city owned or operated and built in the best location. We hope you will consider the value provided all things considered.

Great modern spot, but the hours are a bit rigid. This marina was built just a year ago and still looks brand new. The access is super easy, and the views are awesome.My only real complaint is the strict timing. Having a 3 PM check in and 11 AM check out feels more like staying at a hotel than booking a marina. Other spots like Burnham Harbor in Chicago use a much fairer 12 PM to 12 PM system that actually gives you a full day. It would be awesome if they could be a little more flexible with the hours here without charging extra fees.

The system was built that way so we could assure that dockage was available at your time of arrival. But your analogy to a hotel is fair, and we do not have rooms to clean. Therefore, effective immediately, our overnight stay hours will be 12 PM to 11 AM, but if "your" slip is available early we will gladly accommodate your arrival. Come back and see us soon.

The staff and harbor crew were great - very accommodating. The slip and location weren't for us. We expected there to be noise because of the location but the charters and party boats were too much. Loud music from multiple boats plus the DJ was annoying. There's no relaxing in this location. The floating docks were's stable - we were constantly moving - if you visit here have plenty of bumpers because of the waves and amount of traffic being used by charters coming and going. I would never sleep on my boat here - I didn't feel safe during the day. Lots of very drunk people surrounding us at all times.

Andrea, we regret that you did not fully enjoy your stay with us. As you now know, Saturday was Yacht Rock at Navy Pier, and the DJ and music on the piers were part of that experience. Had we known you did not like the location of your slip near the action and music, we would have gladly relocated you. The wave action you experienced was part of the added charters for the day's event. Again, had we known we could have moved you away from that action. We have never had one complaint about safety at the marina with 24-hour staff and security. Yacht Rock proved to not be a good fit for us, and what we learned from your feedback is appreciated. Our group had an excellent stay at Navy Pier Marina. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff was professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The views of the Chicago skyline were absolutely amazing and made our stay even more memorable. A special thank you to Mark, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

I did two charters there sat. 800 dollars. At least cut me some slack on the second and third. I joined the navy pier app. It didn’t do anything for me. I’ll just have to get smarter there. You told me be upfront. It’s all we do. The place is great. The employees are great. The atmosphere is outstanding. My clients go spend money there. Just hoping for a break somewhere??

While we aren't able to make exceptions to our charter fee structure on an individual basis, we're always happy to discuss options that may better fit if your operation like other charters do when utilizing the marina on a regular basis. $63.48 for a 2 minute Touch N Go while other dock are $20 bucks??? Nope. Never again…

We are sorry that you did not find the price for a touch n go reasonable. We post our rates and advise the cost before you book, whether online or in person. Your rate was $50 which is less than any other place you can stop that we know of, including on the river. The balance was the high city tax we do not control.

Beautiful facility, perfect location, the docks were in perfect condition with movable cleats for each boat, extremely clean bath house and boater lounge. The best marina in Chicago by a mile!

When you choose a place to stay. You first want quality standards and it's supporting staff. Mark the harbor master is quite possibly one of the BEST harbor Managers I've ever seen in this industry and his staff reflects it. Rob,Chris and team are 💯 attentive and well trained. Thank you Mark for the experience and environment you create. We will definitely be back!

This was my first time using the marina. I have a boat in another Harbor, and wanted the ease of walking into downtown with a group of business associates. This facility is top notch. The docks themselves are state of the art. Beautiful, great power availability, well placed cleats. The building that they have built is great. It has a nice office, restrooms, retails shop, and place to relax. Most importantly, the people were very helpful. From the owner Randy, Manager Mark, to Tony, Bob and Hans. When I called ahead to let them know I was arriving, Tony and Bob met us at our specific dock to assist. The area is very safe. I did not notice any rocking from waves, and our boat was there overnight. Using Dockwa was very simple, and overall it was just a great experience. Whether you are from out of town, or simply looking to change up one of your weekends in Chicago, this was a great experience. - Brian (40' Sea Ray) Came back again in ‘26 with a larger boat. Service great once again. Staff greets you at your boat and helps you dock. Happy to help take away any trash etc. when you arrive. Will continue to use the marina throughout the summer when we want to be downtown

We had an excellent stay at Navy Pier Marina. The dock hands were great, and every staff member we interacted with was exceptionally helpful. I made a mistake with my booking, and they cleared it up for me without any trouble. A restaurant on the Pier gladly applied the boater discount. The facilities, including the restrooms, were also exceptional.

Returned for the fourth of July weekend. All was good. The restaurants on the pier do not yet seem to know about the discounts for the boaters. all servers need to check with managers. Mark and his team deserve another 5-star review for our second visit.

Best experience ever!! Very friendy, professional, courteous staff. Greg was awesome! Great parking spot - Sitting on the pier taking in the sights and people was a blast. Access to boat house was a perk. Climate control bathrooms and lounge, outdoor seating. Navy Pier across the street - The Best!! Highly Recommend.

I came with a group of 12 boats over Father's Day, and we had a sensational time. I had guessed there were 10 dock attendants, turns out there were 4... they super-hussled as our group arrived. Mark Stevens, the marina manager was available what seemed like 24 hours a day, and helped move cleats and catch people like a 20 year old. We enjoyed the specials and perks at Navy Pier, and never left the property, being there was sooo much to do. Can't wait to come back.

Navy Pier Marina 2026 Dockage Rates: Overnight dockage starts at $3.95 per linear foot of space for vessels utilizing up to 60 LF, starting at $5.95 for vessels from 61 LF up to 80 LF, starting at $6.95 for vessels from 81 LF up to 99 LF, and starting at $7.95 for vessels 100 LF and up.

• All vessels charged for space required including maneuvering buffer, dinghy’s and other vessel extensions.

• Rates are variable and may increase during peak periods, special events, holidays and weekends.

• THE TOTAL RATE FOR YOUR STAY WILL BE CONFIRMED BEFORE YOU COMPLETE YOUR CHECKOUT AND AGREE TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS AND PAY, subject to an additional 3% credit card processing fee.

• There is a $10 cancellation fee once a reservation is confirmed.

• Electric rates start at $7 per night for a single 30 AMP service and increase by amperage use. 30-amp $7 per night, Double 30-amp $12 per night, 50-amp $12 per night, Double 50-amp $20 per night, 100-amp $25 per night

HOURLY / TOUCH & GO DOCKAGE RESERVATIONS

Book online through our website or the Dockwa app just as you would for an overnight transient reservation, just select arrival and departure date as the same day and your 1st hour or touch and go is included.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Select your arrival date and departure date as the same day, complete the vessel and owner information, add payment info for initial minimum charge that includes your 1st hour or touch and go dockage. NOTE: In the Special Request section, place anticipated dockage times and disclose if you are a charter boat. Final item check box to confirm Navy Pier Marina and Dockwa's Terms and Conditions and request reservation.

Once the marina confirms your reservation you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.

Upon arriving at the marina, if you wish to stay longer than 1 hour, additional hours may be added to your reservation at the time of docking or upon your departure for your total stay minus the initial 1st hour.

Hourly rates start at $50 per hour and increase based upon size of the vessel. Vessels up to 40' - $50 per hour. Vessels 41' - 60' - $75 per hour. Vessels 61' - 85' - $100 per hour. Vessels above 85' upon request.

Commercial Seasonal “Touch & Go” will be offered on a limited basis starting at $100 LF for the season. Frequency limits and contract terms will apply.

• Docking will not be allowed without a confirmed, advanced reservation.

• All rates are subject to change without notice - but will continue to be shown before agreeing to complete payment.

Please Note: The marina is contained within Chicago Harbor and is semi-protected from external wave action with a new integrated wave attenuation system at the entrance that mitigates, but does not at all times eliminate all, waves created outside the marina from entering the marina, especially during high traffic times during busy days. Night times have been substantially calm and relaxing. Please consider this when booking your stay.
