EXCELLENT Location!!! Easy access to town by dingy or launch - Lots of harbor activity and Mega Yachts to watch! We stayed during the week and the nights were quiet

So easy, great, well-kept mooring very close to town, beautiful view of Newport and next to beautiful sailing yachts, yet lots of room to maneuver. Highly recommend!

We have a great stay on our 40’. The tackle is new. The location is great. Connor, in the office, was very helpful and accommodating.
About Rogue Island Marine
Rogue Island Marine is a small family owned mooring rental company in Newport Harbor. We can accommodate vessels up to 40’ in length. Additionally, we offer a variety of charter services, via our sister company Tall Tailz Charters.
Directions:
When entering Newport harbor maintain course heading due east down the main channel. Keep the main harbor mooring field on your port side. Rogue Island mooring number 02 is located in the SE corner of the main harbor mooring field where the east channel and main channel merge. The mooring is one row back from the corner. Number 02 has an orange pick up stick and blue floats on the pennant.

Services:
- For launch service, contact Oldport Marine on VHF channel 68. The launch can drop you at multiple locations along the Newport waterfront. Launch cost is $3 per person.
- For pump outs contact Newport pump out boat on VHF channel 09.
- For emergencies contact the Newport Harbormaster on VHF channel 16/14.
Dinghy Docks:
- We do not offer a dinghy dock. However, Anne st pier and Perotti Park offer day time dinghy dockage. These docks are managed by the city of Newport. Contact Newport Harbormaster on channel 16/14 for more information.
- Anne St. Pier also offers showers and laundry service
- Kings park is the largest public dinghy dock in Newport harbor and they allow for overnight dinghy dockage. They are located on the south side of the harbor near Ida Lewis Yacht Club.
