Appreciate both Dominick and Marco for their efforts in guiding us to the dock and then securing lines. Facility is converting to floating docks with one more phase to complete. Would recommend traveling up river during rising tide and departing during the falling tide, especially during periods of high tidal coefficients. Walking distance from Cajun Jimmy’s which is a must during your stay. Very pleasant stay with only moderate boat ramp activity mid-week.

Staff is great. But no help is available for docking. Bath facilities are poor. No real amenities but you can dinghy around to see the manatees. West Marine and laundry are about a 15 to 20 minute walk.

Kathleen, we are supper bummed that you didn't have a 5 star experience. If you would like help docking all you have to do is ask and we would get some volunteers to help. We would like to know what amenities you would like to see added to the marina. We currently have Wifi, Paddle Boards, and a free Golf Cart to get downtown. Less than 5 min ride gets you access to our golf cart friendly restaurants, laundry, grocery store, shops and a West Marine. We upgraded a big section of our marina to floating docks for ease of use and ready for the next storm. Happy and safe travels. Pete's Pier Staff
