The staff and boaters are great. Very helpful. Beautiful sunrise!

Our 100ft yacht was heading up the Hudson to Haverstraw Marina this morning with VIP guests after a wonderful stay at Jersey City’s Newport Marina. Haverstraw Marina abruptly and unexpectedly reversed their earlier invitation to let us dock and dine there, leaving us and our guests stranded and furious. Ary, Alpine Marina’s kind and softspoken dockmaster, literally laid out the red carpet for us at the last minute. I cannot recommend Alpine Marina and their gracious staff enough. Breathtakingly gorgeous spot under the Palisades Cliff, great snack shop, and amazing last minute hospitality!
Thank you Michael. You are welcome at Alpine anytime. We take pride in being one of the few marinas on the Hudson that can comfortably accommodate 100' and up vessels. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future !

I write this review being an avid boater and stop at this marina 4 or 5 times a year along with the group I travel with. I took my ski for a day trip and stopped here on way back with one bar of gas. The place was locked up during business hours. I called the number and whoever answered the phone and refused to sell me gas because I have ski. I read others posts on here about poor service. This is absolutely ridiculous that any marina would refuse service and have a boater possibly stranded in the river. This is not a safe practice and they should be ashamed of themselves. I can say I will never get gas at this place again nor will my friends that are avid boaters.
Based on the marina response I have to laugh as the website claims they are the premier jet ski fill up on the Hudson.
This place is a joke
1. We do not fill up gas for jet skis or sailboats. There are multiple valid reasons for this. You can blame prior jet skis and sailboats for this. We used to be the premier jet ski fueling spot on the Hudson but then gangs of jet skis would come in at all hours of the day and night and cause major chaos with wakes and loud noise and music so we terminated that. 2. If you were in a real emergency situation then you could have followed the directions on the sign in front of Marina. There's also another Marina 5 min away that still fuels jet skis. 3. We do not make money on fuel. Please do take your fuel business elsewhere. It is simply an amenity for our boaters. 4. Our business is focused on serving the needs of 50' yachts and above. They thank us everyday for our excellent customer service. The trend here is simple: "The ones that spend the least, like to complain the most." Go bother someone else. You can call us a joke but the mega yachts that keep us in business certainly don't think so. We are not a jetski or sailboat marina - please go elsewhere.

Alpine Yacht Basin
Fuel and pump out available.
We were docked outside the seawall. It was really bumpy because of the Hudson. Even inside the seawall it was a little turbulent. The floating docks were not stable and they had posts to avoid boats going to the pubic park from docking there. The problem was, I couldn't tie up because the sign was under the cleat!!
This marina is adjacent to a public park. There are restrooms for the public park, which are basic, but the one for the marina is better and consists of 1 bathroom and 1 shower on opposite sides of the office.
This marina is too exposed - it is beautiful, under the NJ palisades, but for those affected by sea sickness it probably won't be a pleasant experience.
The dock you were on is made for 100' plus vessels which is who we cater to. You begged us for a transient slip and called us 10 times even though we told you nothing available for your small boat. Finally I told you I would help you and put you on that dock and now you complain and criticize. Anyone who leaves a review on Dockwa is not who we cater to. The signs on the dock and cleat is to prevent unauthorized docking. And we took the sign out when you arrived. Point is If you're like this person, don't call us. The 200' vessel that stayed for a week on that dock right after you left has been thanking us non stop.

Lovely park area. But there was no one to catch lines or get info from. For the price you kind of want a little more assistance. But nice stay even in the rain.
Hi we have plenty of guys to help tie you up on the dock. You came on a cold rainy day when we were closed. If you had ask for assistance we could easily have sent someone to help. We also are available by text 24/7 so you can ask any questions and get replies almost instantly. Please communicate with us direct next time.

Not a bad price. Wasn’t anything to do in the area though. Some nice folks at the docks. I’d rate it a 2.5 star
We are in the middle of a beautiful state park and every customer compliments the peace and tranquility at the dock. If you are looking for action then please go to downtown Manhattan. We do not advertise onsite nightlife. We offer brand new docks with very deep water, shore power, fresh water and the ability to host vessels over 200 feet long. We primarily deal with 100' + transients who more than appreciate the service they get since the majority of marinas in the area can not provide what we can. A 2 star review is an insult and uncalled for. Please change. Thanks.

Needs improvement in toilet/shower/laundry facilities.
Our marina is still under construction for the next two years. We certainly do not advertise shower or laundry facilities. We don’t even take transients now. We only accommodated you so you have a place to stay during the storm. And then you criticize our non existing laundry facilities?!!?! Next time go stay at the Ritz Carlton.

My 2nd year at Alpine after it was renovated. Clean, friendly, floating docks, good fuel prices, etc. Best spot on the Hudson for sure.

Price couldn't be better, though watch out near the fuel dock at low tide, less than 2 feet of water. Dock master went out of his way to give me a ride to town. Even on the Hudson it was a pretty smooth night, didn't roll too much.
