Safe Harbor Oxford

Stayed two nights; first time at this marina. Office staff and dock hands were very helpful, appreciated the help getting in with the wind pushing us. Beautiful clubhouse, looks new, large sitting areas in & out, laundry and bath house right by it, restrooms also close to pool. Pool was awesome, very clean, lots of seating and umbrellas and met other friendly boaters there as well. There's a huge picnic area under a tent with grills and seating. Bikes available, we took them on the ferry to Bellevue (ferry only a half mile from marina) and rode 8 miles (took an hour) to St Michael's, quaint little town with lots of shops, dining, bars and museums. Doc's Sunset Grill was 1.5 miles from marina, a jumping place with plenty of seating in and out, entertainment, great water views too. Oxford is a pretty town, very walkable. Fuel dock there as well. Great marina, highly recommend!

We recently stayed at Safe Harbor Oxford and were impressed by the friendly staff, well-maintained facilities, and beautiful setting on the Tred Avon River with active professional "crabbers" . The marina offers excellent amenities, including a pool, clean docks, and reliable marine services, all within walking distance of Oxford’s charming historic waterfront and cute museum. A great stop for Chesapeake Bay cruisers looking for a comfortable and welcoming marina experience.

Stayed at the newer acquired marina, Oxford Boatyard and they charged the same as to stay at the main marina. $182 a night. Docks are run down, you have to walk 10 minutes to the pool and nice restrooms. Stay away

Very nice facilities and staff.

Nice Marina, pool, convenient fuel dock, huge clean individual bathrooms. It was our first time in Oxford, one restaurant, and not much to do off the water.

As always great stay at Safe Harbor Oxford. Dock crew is efficient and experienced at line handling. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Rental bikes are available and free for SHM.

Professional staff and lovely facilities

One of our favorite stops. The staff keeps the marina in top shape. There is a very nice pool, and the restroom/shower facilities are the nicest on the bay.

Oxford is a beautiful little town. We were impressed. It is early in the season, so limited hours on restaurants. The Marina was clean and well maintained. 2 Dock hands assisted with tie up.

Awesome Marina with a great staff! Amazing town as well that is easy to walk or bike.

We arrived after hours. Had a nice discussion with the office, gave us great directions. Docked on our own and left at sunrise. Appreciate you all at Safe Harbor Oxford.

We had a great stay with our cruising group. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The dockmaster Robert was phenomenal, sorting our large group of boats out to try to keep us at the main marina part. The bathhouses were pretty much a disgrace: while large and well built, they were filthy. Toilet paper shreds on floors, hair in sinks, a loose toilet in the same bathroom where there was feces on the wall beside the toilet. All the toilets needed to be cleaned and all the trash cans needed to be emptied. On overhead light was out in one as well. This place is known to have some of the best bath houses on the Bay, but these were a shambles. Their great room was nice, however. I think they just don't have anyone on staff who takes care of the bathrooms. It's been the same in prior visits. The manager was a bit defensive when I reviewed, demanding to know why I didn't inform anyone that the baths needed attention. First of all, not my job. Second of all, I did that two years ago and nothing changed. For the top dollar that they charge, I'd expect at the very least cleanliness. They're only getting a two as Robert was so great and their docks are new.

Very windy day blowing from the NNE. The dock hands were very helpful getting into our slip. Very clean marina. We were very happy to be on the floating docks as there was water over the fixed docks the day after we arrived.

Not sure why I had to erase the previous review before submitting this new one. Our visit on September 28 was definitely one of the best of the season. We had excellent help docking the boat we had pleasant staff help along the way during the weekend. And the use of the facilities was terrific for our rendezvous. They have the best bathrooms on the bay.

Lovely quiet marina. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loaner bikes available to ride to market and town. Easy dockage on large t dock for our 62’ vessel. Will definitely return next year!

Wonderful modern marina with excellent facilities and caring, customer oriented staff. Safe Harbor has done a wonderful job updating this marina from floating docks to fuel dock to bath and lounge facilities and it has a very nice pool! Short walk to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Very nice marina with great shower facilities and a nice rec room. Bring or borrow some bikes if you plan to take the ferry over to Saint Michaels it is about 7-8 miles after the ferry drops you off, the loaner bikes are not great for that.
