Safe Harbor Oxford

This is a good location. The bathrooms are the best marina ones I've seen. But we ended up in a slip next to a boat being worked on with sawing, grinding, and smelly epoxy. Otherwise you'd be 5 stars.

Bravo Safe Harbor Oxford for consistently maintaining and operating one of the nicest marinas on the Chesapeake. Top facilities, many recently renovated and upgraded, run by personable and experienced staff.

Really enjoyed the marina. The office manager (or finance manager) met me to help dock. Such great people. Nice facilities and great location. Only downside was the Robert Morris Inn was closed.

An incredible spot! Beautiful facility, terrific dock master and assistant, the place had everything we needed. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the Wi-Fi wasn’t good. It kept coming in and out.

October 2024 - Love coming to Oxford. Jeff and staff are very friendly and responsive. Only negative comment is as noted in previous comments - more lighting is needed as marina is very dark. June 2021 - Love the floating docks! The marina looks great and we thoroughly enjoy our time in Oxford and will continue to stay at this marina. Jeff is very helpful, courteous and friendly. Our only issue with the marina is the lack of lighting in the dock area as nighttime visibility is very poor. October 2020 - We were happy to be able to get back to Oxford now that phase 1 of the dock work was completed. We love the town of Oxford and we really enjoy stating at this marina. We do strongly recommend that the docks be furnished with lighting as it is very dark and could be dangerous walking the docks after dark. Additionally, we had issues the the WIFI connection and suggest boosters be placed along the docks to improve service. The dock work completed to date is very well done. We will be back next season. This is an older review - We enjoyed our stay at the Oxford Marina and Boat Yard. We were disappointed that there is no longer a complimentary continental breakfast available. Additionally, there was no water on "G" dock which was a great inconvenience to a couple we were traveling with. Seems not much was being done to correct the problem as the line broke on Friday and still no water on Sunday. We will definitely stay at this marina in the future.

Docking went smoothly and marina wonderfully peaceful. Among the best restrooms on the Bay.

We chose Safe Harbor because of the amenities listed on website. It was more expensive than other options but stated amenities that were needed. However, no shuttle was working, both grills were out of gas and we needed to cook since we were mobility challenged and couldn’t walk to town, we were told the TV in the captains lounge was too old to stream or mirror content. Dock master was understanding the next morning but no compensation. On the positive side the showers were lovely and clean but not worth the extra cost.

We always enjoy Oxford. Safe Harbor Oxford is a great marina with excellent staff. Restrooms and showers are very nice. Jeff and the crew at Safe Harbor Oxford always take good care of us.

Great stay ! We came in on a Sunday night and received a quick response by VHF. Dockwa made it a breeze to save the slip- and were given a starboard side tie to one of their T heads. Staff was friendly and helpful with pumpout on arrival. King tides flooded most of Oxford, making the marina an island temporarily- but the floating docks were superb. Bathrooms and showers are literally "best on bay"- and clubhouse afforded many some Sunday night football ! Would suggest some solar lighting on D dock, as it was very dark with some lights out. That all said- Safe Harbor has made this a first class stop and I look forward to returning! Resolute- IP 439

People were great. Flooding in the Marina due to extraordinary high tide was an issue. I Dock not shown on the Marina Diagram from SH Oxford causing a little confusion.

Our group had a great stay. Love the pool and captains lounge. Dockmaster and staff were very helpful, as always.
