Sheltered, very convenient to restaurants, hardware, gas station, train station. Trains going past didn't bother us, but did get woken up by the bells in the AM. Only one hose near the ramp, the dockmaster was very friendly and let us use it. No power. Would stay again.

Dock was full when we arrived, but a space opened up in just about 10 mins. Dock man retied a couple boats to make room for us and happily helped us tie up. Great late season trip from Salem! Thank you!

As always the most charming town to spend an overnight in. Dockmaster and crew are lovely and always very helpful. Although no electricity on the dock, there are so many other positives within walking distance: Singing Beach, Dinner at Calas restaurant, Gas station for dingy fuel, Ice cream at Captain Dusty's and full Grocery store (Crosby's). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Harbormaster team, and in particular Bian, were phenomenal. We discovered a sheared bolt on the engine block end of our alternator tensioner arm at 4:25 on a Friday afternoon. Bian was on the phone with every potential shop to help us secure tools to make the repair. He finally directed us to a local auto mechanic who turned out to be a very capable marine diesel mechanic. We are back in business thanks Bian

Town dock is great location except for the MBTA train crossing nearby. Walking distance to restaurants, Dunkin and grocery store. Good docking help from attendants. Manchester Marine good for fuel. All good if a bit noisey from train.

Beautiful Harbor, great town with lots of places to explore by boat as well. The Harbormaster and staff have been helpful, friendly and great to work with as well.

Manchester-by-the-Sea is one of Massachusetts’s hidden treasures. The town’s new transient docks offer visiting boaters direct access to the center of this quaint New England town. Right from the docks you can walk to a variety of restaurants, shops, parks and beaches.
