We arrived very early in the morning to Canaveral sailing all night from Bahamas
We had tried to Call and write to all the marinas in Canaveral but Only one answered: Port canaveral yacht club.
We where greeted by the dock master and his wife who assisted us in docking.
The atmosphere in the club is the best I ever have encountered in my 40 years of sailing- like being welcomed to a big family. And all facilities are excellent. Even the price is modest and reasonable !
So give it a try- I am sure you will not regret.

Absolutely incredible experience. Stayed as transients. They treated us like family. They have everything you need here. Close to machine shops, propellor shops, bait and tackle, ace hardware, restaurants, welding, mechanics plus a small workshop with much needed amenities. Great place to do work for extremely fair prices. This is no ordinary yachty yacht club. An incredible experience all around.

Extremely nice people. Very quiet. Good location for viewing rocket launches. Fixed dock was a challenge for our 11 yr old golden retriever but once off the boat the dog walking is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

It is the second time we stop in Port Canaveral YC, and we came back because we like it a lot. The dock and facilities are very good, very clean, very everything - but more importantly the people at the dock and at the YC, are the nicest we have met all along the coast. By far our prefere place to dock so far.

Very nice marina and staff are very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to many good restaurants in Port Canaveral. The Yacht Club does server dinner on select nights although we did not partake. Many services in nearby Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, a short Uber ride away. Enterprise and Alamo Rental cars available a few blocks from the marina.
Saturday and Sundays are festive at their tikibar in a family friendly atmosphere including games on the lawn. Restrooms are clean and functional and available 24/7. When there's a launch at Kennedy, there's good viewing spot on the balcony!
Four stars only because docks are fixed with outlying posts to tie up the bows; hard to manage in some boats. There is a floating dock as the T-head (side-tie); mostly for transients, I think.
We've stayed here multiple times and will plan to come back when at Cape Canaveral.

Great access and very friendly staff. Bathrooms were spotless and yacht club dinner was superb. Price was right. Only issue (minor) was navigating short, fixed finger piers on fixed docks with tides. Will visit again.

About Port Canaveral Yacht Club
Notice- Port Canaveral Yacht Club is currently closed due to construction. We apologize for the inconvenience and can’t wait to welcome you to our new floating dock system.
Port Canaveral Yacht Club is a member-owned boating club located at Port Canaveral. We have a fabulous clubhouse, beautiful restaurant, a Tiki Bar downstairs just off the water, and a traditional bar in our restaurant upstairs with a view of the port.
We’re one of the few deep water marinas on Florida’s highly desirable central-east coast and our rates are very reasonable. Since the club is member-run, we maintain high standards.
We do not have a fuel dock.
We do allow for transient boaters.

Vessels over 27' beam have a maximum reservation length of 3 nights
We do allow for transient boaters. Proof of Insurance must be produced upon arrival. Owners must provide an evacuation plan if they are not staying on their vessel.
50 AMP service is limited. If you want it please request and we will do our best to make it happen for you.
