Great dockage, nice pool and facilities … ingress / egress is a little thin - DSM was reading 4ft in the canal at the the last marker set

The staff at Windmill Point Marina are the nicest people you can find anywhere! Tony is always on the go, he and Ford makes every boat feel like they are the only boat they are tending to. This is our 4th time for an overnight stay. The Tiki Bar is fun and the food is so good! Beautiful location, the transient slips back right up to the beach with a beautiful view across the Rappahannock and down the Bay, right from the back of you boat. We will be back!

Tony was awesome, gave us his courtesy car for the evening, ate at Sandpipers in town .....looks deceiving but food was excellent. Windmill is a beautiful small protected inlet with great facilities, beautiful beach and kind caring people

Well, the location is absolutely beautiful!! We were there on a day when the tiki bar was closed, so we grilled and hung out at the pool. Piers are very nice, dock master was helpful and knowledgeable, but overall I hope that the investors decide to go ahead with their plan to build and upgrade. It could be an absolutely wonderful, relaxing and fun stop, right off the Bay on the Rappahannock!

The marina is out in the boonies of eastern Virginia, at the end of the left bank of the Rappahannock river. It is a small marina with a somewhat difficult entry: the channel in is narrow and shallow: we have a four foot draft and had one and one half foot under us at the minimum. The marina has a private beach and a nice large swimming pool. It also has a bar that serves fairly good but not exotic food. Looked like a relaxing place to chill out for a few days, although we were there only one night.

Great spot. The beauty of the Rappahannock River is spectacular. Beach, pool, helpful staff. Restaurant closed last weekend of September, only disappointment.

We really love this little marina. Easy in and out for a sailboat and the people there are great. We rolled right in put out the lines and went into the tiki bar for dinner. Everything is very convenient. Beautiful location and view. Great service on the fuel dock, too. If I needed to be in a few days because of wind or weather this is where I'd want to be. We booked through the Dockwa app. :)

Great renovated marina with an awesome staff. Some say the channel in is tight……never saw less than 7.7 feet at mid tide. Locals are very friendly and marina is dog friendly. Tiki bar has great live entertainment.

Great staff. Nice new docks with a Tiki bar restaurant and pool. Will definitely visit again.

It was a wonderful stay.

Windmill was VERY windy! HAHA! We got in there just at the right moment. Within an hour the wind was howling! Enjoyed the nachos and drinks. We do find it a shame that you can see the that VERY beautiful building beginning to deteriorate. I hope that won't continue.

My boat draws 5.7 ft. could not get in to the channel for the marina. So we could stay there

This place has a lot of potential. The good: Great pool overlooking the bay. Fun Tiki bar attached that has a small bar menu. The food was very good. The bulk head docks are great one side being fixed the other floating. Dock master Tony is a great guy and willing to do what ever it takes to make your stay great. It has the potential to be a sweet resort. Cons: the entrance off the bay has a very shallow spot so try not to go at low tide. We sounded slightly less than 5 at dead low. The grounds, Tiki bar and pool could use some sprucing up. The two guys that are running it are working hard to make this place a destination stop and we hope they succeed!

Completely adequate accommodations for me and my boat.

Very nice staff here. Tony went out of his way to accomodate our schedule and our individual needs. Because we were travelling in late December, we ran into weather issues that forced us to stay on the dock an extra day - but not a problem for the Windmill Point Marina. We'll stop in again on our way north in the spring!

Upon return from vacation and review of credit card statements, I found I was double billed for our stay. This needs to be resolved ASAP.

Arrived the day after Hurricane Isaisa which hit area near this marina pretty hard. My first visit there. Nice location, nice docks, good pool, friendly bar next to pool and near beach, but due to the circumstances no marina staff available as they were involved in repairs at marina and elsewhere. Couldn't even buy fuel! Wi-Fi not working due to problem with their internet supplier due to storm. Finally met a manager at the bar who was able to give me the code for the showers as well as explaining why there was no Wi-Fi. Clearly an exceptional set of problems due to storm but a partial refund of usual price might be a good gesture under these circumstances. If you want to get away and forget about COVID, this is a good place because none of the staff use masks and there are not reminders posted about "social distancing". However, when you leave property you will discover that over businesses in tUrbanna expect you to take reasonable COVID precautions!

I'm from Hampton,VA and I was at the Marina with my disabled cousin and his mother on July 3.2020 and we had dinner and drinks at the Tiki Bar at the Marina I have to say the atmosphere,staff and scenery was breath taking as well as awesome I want to say our server Cameroon gave us outstanding outstanding service as well as the food.This is not my first time being here my other times has been awesome as well I definitely give them a 5 star rating both the quality of service,scenery looking over into the Chesapeake bay and friendly atmosphere. We came in late from Cape Charles in some nasty weather. Tony met us at the dock after hours to take care of us. A warm welcome from everyone. It’s obvious that Tony cares deeply about his marina and his customers!

Beautiful place, fun environment, and the docks are great! Dock Master and Harbor Master are incredible - they’re present and attentive, friendly and fun. We will definitely be coming back.

Very clean, great floating docks, excellent service, and the courtesy vehicle is a big time plus.

We arrived late on a Saturday afternoon. The dock master met us at the dock and assisted us with our lines. He was skilled and made the process effortless. There was a an outdoor bar (near the pool) that was a very popular and it took us little time for us to join the crowd. The facilities were clean and in my opinion, this facility is worthy of a five star rating.

A little rough. Drunks yelling using bad language loudly.

Kinda a lonely place because of the time of year. But we did enjoy our stay.

Nice docks, but sparse facilities. No restaurant or bar, only a shower and a pool table. The rest of the marina looks like an unrealized dream. On the flip side, the folks at the marina were very nice and had a courtesy car that we used to head to town to find a decent restaurant.

A bit neutral....beautiful location. A birding hot spot! But...not quite open for business during our stay and not much indication of that on the only website they have which is Face Book. Attempted to call regarding navigation but no one was in the office. Staff members were their when we pulled in fortunately and were very helpful during mooring. Our draft is 4 1/2 feet. Don't recommend any entry on low tide. Blogs say its been dredged but not well I can assure you. Highest potential so I hope they get it in gear in the future.
