50 amp power was only 189 volts. That won't run anything on our boat, and it was 90°. We were "well done" by morning. Wouldn't have stopped there if we had known the power was bad. Very minimal refund for no power. 😩

Pros: very sheltered, lots of space, friendly manager.
Cons: no hot showers, in northerly the smell of the neighbouring sewage plant is strong.
Note: manager does not monitor vhf so call on phone and leave a message if no answer.

Frank, the owner, is friendly and terrific; bath/showers were clean, spacious, and felt new; short walk to Cap Cove. We ride-shared to other places, not much else in walking distance. Surrounding area is industrial, location is up the river without much breeze but very calm water and quiet. Breakfast spot next door closed weekends.

Frank Sr. and Frank Jr. could not have been more accommodating. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean. The on site eatery for breakfast and lunch was also wonderful! Michelle, the restaurant owner, gave us many ideas for the area. Seaport Cove was not open during the time we stayed. No Maritime museum in the area at all, as stated in the cruising guide.

Tucked into the left bank of Cedar Creek as you enter historic Black Rock Harbor, is Cedar Marina, a wonderful family friendly haven; a perfect place to spend your boating summer!
Family owned and operated for over 50 years, Cedar Marina boasts 140 slips, including up to eight available for transients. Pump-out, hull and engine repair, electrical service are some of the services provided. The Marina has operated under the Gulia family for three generations and is equipped with factory trained technicians on staff for MerCruiser, Volvo, and Mercury Outboards. Frank Jr. has recently expanded the mechanical services to include cosmetic applications, painting and Awlgrip coatings. He also runs their Marine Dredging business.
During the warm boating season, Frank Sr can be found firing up the grill on a Friday afternoon and helping customers tie up their boats. For the fisherman in your family, the marina provides a bait and fish preparation station and our restaurant, South on Bostwick, makes wonderful food you can enjoy here at the marina or take it to go!
