We must have been the largest boat in the Marina. Unfortunately, we were given a very difficult slip to get in and out of. Not quite sure what they were thinking when they did that. This is basically what I would describe as a work yard, not the kind of place where you would want to hang out.
We love the area and the marina. The only issue we had are the showers. The water is consistently cold. Hope you are able to work on that. Other than that great yard and very professional.
Marina assigned us a slip that was literally narrower than our boat's beam. This despite accurate information given through Dockwa. Then said they had nothing else, encouraged us to jam past piling. Shuttle service to downtown was sketchy, very few amenities at this marina. And VERRRRRY expensive.
Great spot. Great marina. Great walk to town.
the weather was the best so far so the trip was great. the dock hands were right on the spot to help us tie up and get settled. The shipyard has always been a good place to tie up. we've been going there for 20+ years.
Friendly well maintained marina with all of the amenities. Can either dinghy to town, walk or take the shuttle. One of my favorite places to visit.
Very accommodating marina staff and dockmaster. Very helpful and friendly. Great amenities including a restaurant and pool. Quick dinghy ride to town or use the shuttle service.
Brewer Yacht Yard at Greenport is second to none for yacht service. ABYC certified electricians, master craftsmen, manufacturer-trained technicians and skilled applicators make our crew able to service yachts of all kinds - old, new, big, and small. Located between the forks of eastern Long Island, Greenport is an ideal visiting spot for transients or starting point for adventures afloat. Greenport is the gateway to the Peconic estuary, a series of beautiful and navigable bays for day sailing, gunk holing, and exploring, but it serves an ideal launching pad for offshore fishing. Led by a manager who apprenticed as a wooden boat builder early in his career, and who draws on his experience working on everything from kayaks to America’s Cup contenders. The yard is considered the ‘place to go’ for just about any type of service, including engine and bow thruster installations, carpentry work, keel modifications, and paint finishes.
