I have stayed at this marina several times, it never disappoints. Great facility, very clean, excellent showers, and the location cannot be matched, right in the heart of downtown Boston. We watched a firework display for the Tall Ships, what a view. The staff is super helpful when docking and leaving, power, water and pump out service all outstanding. Will definitely repeat.

Great location in downtown Boston. Facilities are nice, security good, and John the dockmaster was very helpful. We will be back!
2026 Update: Back in Boston for 10 days for the 250th 4th of July and Sail 250 Tall Ships event. Waterboat Marina is fabulous location with great facilities, and all the staff are outstanding! Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Great location on Long Wharf to see Boston. Very clean restrooms. Laundry, ice and coffee available on site. Friendly, responsive and accommodating staff. Short trip to the dinghy dock.

Love the location The place is clean, well kept and right in the heart of Boston. It is a little bouncy during the day but quiets right down at night. One major complaint. Several times we had some wind against tide where the mooring ball was hitting the hull of our boat. We had to tie fenders in a circle around the mooring ball to prevent our boat getting scratched. BWM could and should fix that by putting some kind of padding around the balls. In Edgartown Ma the balls are padded. For $85/night for a mooring I should not get my boat scratched. Also the bathrooms are very clean but they smell. Not sure why.

Enjoyed our stay in the Heart of Boston city. The Boston water boat marina was very friendly and had good facilities. We used the laundry and showers both of which were excellent and the marina staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations. It can be a little bumpy on buoy with ferry wakes throughout the workday rush hours, but quietens down evening. It took us a while to workout the noise we heard underwater was the underground railway lol,

We had a fun stay. The downtown location is great. Very close to the North End, Quincy Market and many fine restaurants. Jack on the dock was a big help.

Terrific location. A bit choppy from the harbor traffic but nights were calm. The view and proximity is well worth it. Staff was excellent!
