We found this marina to be one of the most unfriendly marinas we have encountered. We are by no means a huge yacht which is obviously what they are geared towards. Maybe that was the problem......but they were overpriced, didn't have free wifi and were rude. For the commoners like ourselves this was not the place for us.
I will say the facilities were clean, but that is about the only good thing I can say about them.
The Kenney family has owned and operated Blackwell Point Marina for 14 years. All new piers, water and electric service was new in 2016. Located on Smith Creek in Oriental, North Carolina. Just past Day Marker #10 on the right. The following is a list of amenities we offer:
If you have any questions or requests, we will do our best to see you and your vessel are treated as our special guests.
As you enter Oriental Harbor, you will notice a fixed bridge. This bridge leads to Smith Creek. The bridge has a fixed height of 45'. Please consider your mast height before you decide to head towards Smith Creek.
Height Marker Day Boards are posted at eye level on the bridge. The water level is at a measured point on these Height Markers to allow the boater to see what the current clearance is. Any questions please call Blackwell Point Marina at (252) 725-7865.
