From the first call to Sam to the time we cast off our stay was wonderful. Sam met us on the dock to help us get in and welcomed us.
We usually stay at the city docks but we will now stay at the Cape Charles Yacht Center if slip’s available.
Bathrooms were clean and the hot water felt great. We have already booked our stay for Labor Day.

We spent the 4-6 July there, great place to watch the fireworks. The docks are great. Need more weekend help to monitor tp in the bath house and trash levels after a holiday.

Nice docks with plenty of maneuvering room, beautiful clean bathroom, quiet location. Dockmaster Jackie was helpful.

every thing was great (especially the staff) but for the minimum 2 day charge for electric service even though i only reserved for 1 night. that felt chinchy and excessive

Sam was great. Very responsive and professional. The marina itself was in good shape. Unfortunately we were not told the bathhouse was under renovation if I didn’t ask we would not have known we could still use it and it wasn’t the code we were given. Even then there was not hot water. Usually when we get a slip it’s because we want a shower!!! Also we did not end up using the power (I mentioned it) and I have not seen a refund. We could have stayed at the Town docks but chose here. We will probably stay at the Town docks next time.

Cape Charles Yacht Center was a perfect overnight stop for us in a wicked heatwave! Matt could not have been more friendly. He greeted us at dock and after helping us tie up and get settled he told us where to go eat dinner. We had a great night, drinks at Shanty, dinner at Elephant and Octopus, blissful sleep in a cool a/c cabin. Today, laundry, power wash, shave the dog, and farm fresh eggs that Matt delivered to the office for us. Highly recommend and will be back.

We mostly anchor or find free dock walls. But this is one marina on the ICW that we choose to visit.

Bathhouse is a bit dated and spartan.

Cape Charles yacht Center was a good enough marina. The dock master was exceptional, but the facilities (head, shower) left improvements to be desired.

If there were a sixth star to add to this review I would unhesitatingly add it. John the marina manager was tremendous with his “what can we help you with” comments and he truly meant it. The women in the office went above and beyond to help us and the mechanics helped us with an engine issue that truly vexed us. We were able to leave the marina when we wanted to and highly, highly recommend this marina.

Cape Charles Yacht Center is the newest destination for yacht services on the East Coast. Ideally situated between the Northeast and Florida on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Cape Charles is the perfect location to provide mega-yacht services in a scenic, natural setting. The harbor sits right off the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay where it meets the Atlantic Ocean and features an 18-ft. deep channel for easy access. Fuel service is mostly accommodated for bulk purchases and is delivered from a truck strait to your slip. For gasoline and smaller purchases, the Cape Charles Town Marina has a fuel dock directly across from our marina.
