We've been through Belhaven several times but this was our first stay at River Forest Manor. The marina staff was quick to reply on the radio and assist us with our lines into the slip. The restaurant on the grounds was excellent. We used one of the loaner golf carts to run errands and they even had a little dog park which was awesome. Overall a great stop and one we will repeat on future visits through Belhaven.

We just love this marina. Been here a few times and they never disappoint. So quiet and peaceful. Easy to get in and out. Dockhands were super helpful. Very dog friendly! And don't forget to have dinner at the restaurant. I had the pan fried mahi mahi with a curry sauce accompanied by roasted brussel sprouts and basmati rice. Sooo good! See y'all next time!

Austin our Dockmaster was great. He went out of his way, even staying after hours, to make we were settled in. We needed diesel and a pump out, which was done at our slip. Our crew used the showers and restrooms, all very clean- they even provided towels! After a torrential rainstorm we walked the 50 yards to the Marina restaurant for a delightful upscale meal in a laid back environment. We'd definitely consider River Forest on our southward trip back down the ICW.

We had a great stay here. The facility is very clean and nice, and the staff was very accommodating. The free laundry and golf carts were appreciated, and you can receive fuel and pump outs right in your slip.

Great place to spend a couple days. Easy access to town using the golf carts. There is a boat yard a few blocks away as well.

Marina folks so nice. Marina clean, has towels, soap and shampoo! Also loaned me an electric clown car - so fun. Splendid stop. Loved the restaurant in town- Spoon River Artworks.

slip was too tight for our vessel, we should have requested a different slip. Otherwise good marina, cute town with a great grocery store. Complimentary golf carts.

Nice stay - use of golf carts to town, nice shower with towels and shampoos, free laundry. The restaurant was good and friendly server. Only complaint is the dock needs some cleats!

A FANTASTIC marina and stay! We were offer a slip or side tie, upon contact with the dock master, and he quickly guided us into the harbor and assisted grabbing lines and tying us off while three other boats were arriving. The grounds are beautiful, the town is lovely, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Amenities are beyond wonderful; free laundry, a free glass of wine at the restaurant and free use of there fleet of golf carts to access town! Amazing stay!!

It is a great place to stop, town isn’t far away, free laundry is always a plus, we didn’t use the showers but the bathroom/showers looked nice. Short walk to town with nice places to enjoy.

Excellent Marina. Well marked channels all the way to the pier. Fixed docks are updated. Big fare way to maneuver to the slip. Boaters showers fully stocked with towels and soap and clean. Good laundry machines. Town is easy walk or use the golf carts provided to get to hardware store and several good restaurants. Restaurant at the marina is excellent.

Nice marina and dockmaster Mike was great. It was very windy when we got in and had lots of trouble getting into the slip. He put us in a different one where the wind was not pushing us as hard against the slip to make the turn. Nice showers and bathrooms. Laundry is in the Manor and has 3ea washer/dryers that work very well and are free to marina guests. The restaurant on site is very good and give you a complimentary glass of champagne. The town of Belhaven is only about 4-5 block walk and has shops and more restaurants. Nice Bakery and nice little ice cream shop. Met lots of other loopers there.

This was a perfect spot for stopping in bad weather . Bathroom equipped with towels and shampoo , a great docktails area ( which we did use due to rain ) so had it inside and were treated to a great tour of the manor and then dinner . Staff were super friendly

Easy stop just off the ICW. Golf carts available to get you into town. Very affordable, and friendly dock crew. A great place to stop along the way north/south.

Excellent marina and STAFF !!! Winning combination Mike and his crew are so helpful , kind , and courteous!! Customer Service at its best!!! The marina has great bathrooms ( towels provided) free laundry and golf carts so you can go to Food Lion and or to the hardware store or better yet drive to Spoon River for dinner. The beautiful mansion that is a part of the marina is absolutely stunning. Incredible staff inside we had happy hour there. It was beautiful. Best stay over so far ! Sunset Fever

This is the best choice in Belhaven IMO. Friendly and convenient. Live the golf carts. NOTE when you provision sure not to miss the best butcher I have ever found "My Butcher" in Belhaven

River Landing Marina in Belhaven is an absolute standout stop on the ICW. From the moment we arrived, Mike made the experience—super friendly, accommodating, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was taken care of. The marina itself is clean, well-run, and easy to navigate. Service was excellent across the board. Having an on-site restaurant and bar is a major plus, and the location is ideal—just a short walk into town. The complimentary loaner golf carts take it to another level and make getting around effortless. If you’re running the ICW and need a place to stop, this is one you shouldn’t pass up. Highly recommend.

Historic River Forest Marina has been a favorite stop of vessels transiting the ICW since 1947. Briefly known as Grand Manor Marina during 2023-2024, the facility is under new ownership and has taken back it's original name of River Forest Marina.

The marina is located at ICW MM 136, and just inside the breakwater upon entering Pantego Creek and the Belhaven Harbor. We have a well marked deep draft channel with ample 9' water depths throughout as well as at the dock. There is no lunar tide and minimal (<1ft) wind driven tide at our location.

There is an onsite restaurant, craft cocktail bar, and boutique hotel. We are located in the residential area of downtown Belhaven, an ideal location for walks and sightseeing or a leisure golf cart ride. We are a short walk or golf cart ride (approximately 0.4mi) from Belhaven's business district, which hosts an array of shops and restaurants.
