In many trips up and down the ICW, and other cruising, this marina was probably the friendliest and most accommodating that I’ve ever stayed in. The owner is on site, and makes sure everything is going well. The prices are extremely reasonable. There is a wonderful mansion on site, and the owner will gladly take you through it. On top of all of that, he offers you a welcome glass of Prosecco upon your arrival. There is also a very nice restaurant, again with reasonable prices, and wonderful wait staff. Absolutely a top-notch experience. I highly recommend it.

Once again we had a great stay at River Forest Marina! Austin was helpful, professional and friendly as always. The free golf carts are such a nice way to get around town. The big news is the marina now has 3 BRAND NEW WASHERS!! They were just installed this week and are so nice - and free to use! Thanks to everyone at the marina. See ya next time!

Fixed docks, shore power is good, t11’ water on west side, Dockmaster Mike stayed 2 hours extra to help us get in. Daughter of original owner now owns.

We had difficulty contacting the marina via VHF radio. We also called ahead to confirm that gasoline was available, which they told us they had plenty, only to be told upon arrival that they had run out. This was frustrating, especially since we had taken the time to call in advance. As a result, we lost an additional hour of our trip searching for another location to refuel. Better communication and more accurate information about fuel availability would have made a significant difference in our experience.

We are very sorry for the trouble! We are putting in new fuel tanks which is requiring us to keep the levels in the old tanks at a minimum. We sold out before you got here and that is on us! Relaxing! We stayed for 5 night due to Nor easter off the coast north of us. The marina is not fancy, no floating docks and laundry was sup-standard. But, it was safe, great views, good fuel prices, fun golf carts, clean spacious shower rooms and low price docking. The town of Belhaven was super small, like one stop-light small. We ate at the marina restaurant, it was fancy/pretty with very reasonable prices. We also ate at Fish Hooks, loved it! If you go, check out the Ace Hardware, it was like an old time hardware store. All in all it was a great unexpected delay at a very relaxing location.

Great stop in Belhaven to ride out a noreaster. Easy drive into town on the golf carts. Clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful!

The dockmaster, Austin (?) was incredibly helpful and very friendly. We loved the free golf carts they have to get around town in. The facilities were also very nice.

We enjoyed our stay at River Forest Marina!! Austin and Joe were SO kind and helpful, and we had everything we needed during our stay! The available golf carts were such a huge win to get around town, and the bathroom facilities are spotless. They have ice and beverages in the marina store to purchase. They do have a pump out station they bring to your boat, it’s a little slow, but works ok otherwise. Laundry is free and the River Manor Bistro is just right there on site for lunch or nice dinner. Would highly recommend!

Excellent small marina. Quiet, close to town with restaurants, shops and grocery with use of golf cart. Will definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic find, a beautiful little marina. Everything was so clean, the showers were great. Free laundry is a great bonus, and the use of the golf carts was great. Great place for a couple of nights rest.

Excellent stay at River Forest Marina. Austin and Joe were great. Fixed docks, well maintained. Multiple amenities, bathrooms\showers clean and stocked with towels, multiple golf carts\ electric car available for reprovisioning at nearby Food Lion, free laundry. Belhaven an easy walk downtown with many restaurants and shops. Fuel and pump out available at slip. Would definitely recommend for Cruisers on the ICW.

Stayed here much longer than planned due to part coming in and bad weather; they have FREE laundry, dock hands were helpful and they have FREE golf carts to let you get around town and to Food Lion. We ended up here for 10 days and will return!

We've been through Belhaven several times but this was our first stay at River Forest Manor. The marina staff was quick to reply on the radio and assist us with our lines into the slip. The restaurant on the grounds was excellent. We used one of the loaner golf carts to run errands and they even had a little dog park which was awesome. Overall a great stop and one we will repeat on future visits through Belhaven.

We just love this marina. Been here a few times and they never disappoint. So quiet and peaceful. Easy to get in and out. Dockhands were super helpful. Very dog friendly! And don't forget to have dinner at the restaurant. I had the pan fried mahi mahi with a curry sauce accompanied by roasted brussel sprouts and basmati rice. Sooo good! See y'all next time!

Austin our Dockmaster was great. He went out of his way, even staying after hours, to make we were settled in. We needed diesel and a pump out, which was done at our slip. Our crew used the showers and restrooms, all very clean- they even provided towels! After a torrential rainstorm we walked the 50 yards to the Marina restaurant for a delightful upscale meal in a laid back environment. We'd definitely consider River Forest on our southward trip back down the ICW.

We had a great stay here. The facility is very clean and nice, and the staff was very accommodating. The free laundry and golf carts were appreciated, and you can receive fuel and pump outs right in your slip.

Historic River Forest Marina has been a favorite stop of vessels transiting the ICW since 1947. Briefly known as Grand Manor Marina during 2023-2024, the facility is under new ownership and has taken back it's original name of River Forest Marina.

The marina is located at ICW MM 136, and just inside the breakwater upon entering Pantego Creek and the Belhaven Harbor. We have a well marked deep draft channel with ample 9' water depths throughout as well as at the dock. There is no lunar tide and minimal (<1ft) wind driven tide at our location.

There is an onsite restaurant, craft cocktail bar, and boutique hotel. We are located in the residential area of downtown Belhaven, an ideal location for walks and sightseeing or a leisure golf cart ride. We are a short walk or golf cart ride (approximately 0.4mi) from Belhaven's business district, which hosts an array of shops and restaurants.
