This marina is top-notch! The dockmaster was very knowledgeable not only with powerboats, but also sailboats, which was very refreshing. This made docking go very smoothly for our 41 foot sailboat! The amenities are second to none (pool and hot tub, several restaurants and bars, clean bathrooms, fitness center, I could go on for days...) The grounds are well-kept and the harbor is beautiful. There is a free shuttle that will take you to several places in town including downtown, Harris Teeter, and West Marine. Where else could a boater need to go? Also on sight is the USS Yorktown museum, which is an amazing piece of history. Every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be returning to this marina on our next journey up the coast!

Great marina and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. It's quite large so takes some serious walking to get around. No coffee shops nearby unfortunately.

The staff was not well informed about the facilities. Poor access to both power and water. When the dockhand informed his manager of the over 200ft run to the nearest water spigot over the radio and inquired if the office had a hose they could loan the captain for 30 mins. The manager responded over the phone, is there fill on the stern? Tell them to turn the boat around! So much more could be said...... will not likely return.

Excellent as always. I appreciate the fact that the same friendly and knowledgeable marina and restaurant staff have been there for years. As a transient passing through twice a year, it’s always a warm reception when I arrive.

I stayed here on my catamaran from July 30th through August 21st. The dock/marina staff are top-notch!! Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. The resort amenities are great to have although even at the monthly rate a bit expensive ($3400). Having pool access was nice and the three restaurants onsite were all really good. This marina also has a water taxi that makes going to the downtown area of Charleston easy.
Lots of restaurants and other activities are close by (walking/bicycle), or Uber.
Some things I would change: 1. don't charge for laundry
2. Have pool attendants walking around to take orders (drinks/food). Missed opportunity here!
3. Have use of a car/truck for necessary short trips in local area.
I'm only adding this because of the rates charged here for docking...if you want to be a 5 star marina, then this should be included

The stay was fantastic. I asked for a good slip to watch the Fireworks in Charleston Harbor and the dock master Andy gave me the best slip possible. The fireworks show was great. Great support and great marina. We enjoyed dinner at the Fishhouse and also spent several days at the pool and Tiki bar. We will be back!!!!
