I am a big fan of this marina. The docs are floating in well-maintained. Access to the resort facilities, including a Very Nice Pool, a couple good bars and Resturants on site are all a big plus considering the location. As well as access to Charleston via the free resort shuttle. And most everything you may need for boat or crew is available within a short Lyft or Uber ride in Mount Pleasant.
The staff is first-rate! Loyd, the Harbor Master is knowledgeable and heads up a tight crew dedicated to being as helpful as possible.
The only suggestion I would make is that paper towel dispensers be installed in the heads. It’s a bit difficult after shaving, to dry your face with the Dyson hand dryer that points down. Instead, you end up using a lot of the TP.

I have been in a few marinas around town before making my way here for my permanent spot. It feels like you are on vacation each time you step foot on the property. The team has made this a very enjoyable transition. Each time I go into the marina office I am greeted with very happy and helpful staff. Shout out to those guys.. They are the ones who make this place so enjoyable. Highly Recommend!

Marina staff was very helpful and courteous. The facilities were very nice. Complimentary shuttles to downtown and water taxi access. Arrive during slack tide for safest experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! Even though it was cold outside the pool was heated and my son and I had a blast swimming for hours. Also connected to the USS Yorktown which is an added bonus. Love all the amenities! We’re adding this spot of places to come back north. Update - came back in April and had a blast with the warm weather and the Easter event was incredible. Can’t beat the resort amentities, one of our favorite marinas

Nice people employed there, docks in good shape. It’s a big marina and a long walk from the transient dock to shore. Our assigned dock space did not have a working power pedestal and our 50 ft power cords could not reach. If we didn’t have another set of 50 ft cords we would have been out of luck for power. There was only one small restroom for the entire marina and 4 small shower stalls.
At 5.00 a foot plus a resort fee the location and number of facilities is not what I would have expected at premium prices.

The marina crew is EXCELLENT!!! However, it is very evident the resort wants nothing to do with boaters.. not friendly or engaging.. asked where we would pick up the shuttle to town, and the large guy sitting behind the desk said that he didn’t think we were allowed to use it.. even though we are charged $46 bucks a day… there was a consistent theme where resort staff looked down at you. My wife and I are retired professionals and we’re not dressed like we just crossed the ocean…. The showers at the marina are extremely small.. 3.5 x 4.5 feet.. no place to sit down, and boasting a slip number of 456 or so.. they were all being used when I tried… in the off season! I would not return unless I was contacted by management… I would suggest based on the treatment by the resort.. you shouldn’t either..

Sutton working the fuel dock was awesome! The shower amenities are lacking. Certainly not worthy of the almost $45 resort fee. Specific shower feedback: the shower is like a closet with no place to put dry things while you take a shower. I had to wedge my phone/wallet behind a hanging hook.

Beautiful and safe facility. Dock hands were nice but didn’t appear to be the most knowledgeable about line handling or the marina’s on site amenities such as water taxi. We like this place and have been transiting the coast for 30+ years.
