Osprey Point is one of the best marinas, perhaps the best marina, that we use. It was as usual very nice, and our meal at the Inn was excellent.

Only disappointment was inability to get a reservation at the restaurant. But that led to finding Blue Heron Oyster Bar . . . Awesome.

We love the Inn for dinner but they had no openings so we tried blue heron which was good. You can buy breakfast if you let them know the night before(we didn’t but were accommodated).
Bathhouse is clean and many showers and toilets.
Marina floating docks are great.
Beautiful grounds.

Very nice, clean, floating docks. Staff very courteous and knowledgeable. Good food on site or short walk to restaurant. Not much to do or see in town, but a nice walk. Biggest complaint, no wifi.

We arrived late but the office called us while enroute to ask if we needed assistance docking. We did not, but it was nice of them to check. Also, they let us stay later on day of departure (next day) for no additional charge. We would definitely like to return when the pool is open next time. This time, we rode the bikes around town which was nice. They also have a shuttle that runs every hour, but we choose to do the bikes instead. It was a great 24 hours.

We have stayed at Osprey Point many times in the past, especially the first or second week in September and enjoyed using the pool. Unfortunately, this time, the pool was green! I think they need to employee a qualified pool company to maintain their pool. I was also disappointed their pool grill was closed.

PROS:
1) Trace (older man in golf cart—hope I have name right) priceless!! He helped us dock and depart. He offered me rides in his cart (I use a walker) and seemed genuinely concerned that I might fall. He is helpful and such an asset to OP
2)Female telephone voice who responds to asking for a slip assignment. So pleasant that we could hear her smiling!
3) Food expensive ($46 for a fillet) but so very delicious. Staff in restaurant—esp bartender and server with a pretty page boy hair-do—were caring, kind, and efficient. Wish there were bar service on days when restaurant isn’t open—maybe a HH?
4) The grounds are so well kept. Beautiful, serene place.
Cons:
** High dockage fees makes us re-consider staying.
** Pool was not usable!! As another guest on Wed 9/4 said, “Don’t go in there; it looks like a science project. We always come the week after Labor Day because you stay open without needing a guard. That’s the real reason for our second visit every year. I feel honestly that we are due a partial refund for not being able to use it on the one day it was warm enough to do so.
**Dust from speeding vehicles near pool could be minimized with a real speed bump
**Handicap issue: it’s almost impossible for one using a walker to get along on the Gravel. I would love to see a smooth sidewalk from the dock house to the Inn and to the pool.

This is a great marina. It's clean, everyone is friendly, the poolside grill is amazing, and the restaurant was amazing. This is my favorite marina on the Eastern Shore.

Dockhands greeted and helped tie up. Had dinner at the Inn, always a treat, food & service is always superb. Only problem we had was with the wedding on Saturday, our dock entrance was closed off and we had to walk all the way around to the other side of the dock to get to the parking lot. There were several cars parked illegally along the water side blocking the lane that the "Free" shuttle comes down. The shuttle backed all the way up and left us stranded instead of coming down the next lane because of the strict timeline they are on! However, Trace, the Dockmaster, who saw this happen, offered to take us in town with the company vehicle and saved the day for our restaurant reservation! Above & beyond! This Marina & Inn is first rate, we love coming here!

The marina is a repeated favorite. I come to Rock Hall to visit boating friends. Even though, I could have stayed at the marina where they keep their boats, I have chosen to stay here several times.
Why Osprey Point? The staff. The grounds. The amenities. The experience.
The staff here have all been top notch. The dock hands are capable, friendly and ready to help. The folks in the restaurant and main office were extremely friendly and helpful. Even with the stress of a wedding going on during out visits, everybody here was great.
The grounds. We have never been disappointed with the way the grounds are kept. You will find yourself pulling your phone out to snap pictures of the landscape, the inn, and the views. The docks have full length finger piers. Floating docks. Nice pedestals and hook ups. No issues at all.
Amenities. The pool, the inn and restaurant. Bicycles, kayaks and so much more. We honestly need to plan more time here to take advantage of all the things to do here.
The experience. As said before. We've stayed here several times. We've had no gripes whatsoever. From the call on the VHF announcing our arrival, until the time we cast our lines and shove off... we love what we get with Osprey Point and will be back next year.
