Good! Mike was great to work with. kept the dinge there while we did Science museum, then saw the baseball game was protected behind gated door. no problem $12.
Marina Response:
Thanks, we will be working to get that fifth star on your next visit!

We had a great time docking and staying in Baltimore for the day 😊 Had lunch and visited the aquarium. The weather was perfect 😊 We even had a visit from the harbor master, very welcoming 😊 We'll be back😊

My stay was excellent and the Baltimore Dock master was a great help. This app doesn’t work as well as it should (billing issues) but Dock master Steve straightened out its errors for us. We’ll be back
Marina Response:
Thanks for the feedback Paul. May I schedule a time to chat with you regarding improvements to the DOCKWA app? My number is 410-396-3174. Harbormaster Mike.

Mike (dock master) and his team during this event was a Master Class in marine. operations that was also witnessed in the Sail 250. A flawless operation on a grand scale. This what Baltimore needed to showcase the inner harbor. Bravo
Marina Response:
Thank for choosing Baltimore City Municipal Piers! We are a small but mighty crew focused on the customer experience.

We used the Ann Street Pier for a day trip to Fells Point. Although there are no security measures (fence, etc.), the location was just fine for the day. The cleats for mooring are below the level of the pier on the horizontal wood structure and held us perfectly secure. The location is outstanding; lots of food, drink, and shopping to be had within a few blocks. There is no water or electricity available at this pier and we paid for 30A, so I'll be sure to leave that part out of my next reservation request...we WILL be back!
Marina Response:
An electric service refund has been processed. We only have electric at the Inner Harbor Finger Piers. Thanks for visiting to Fell's Point.

Harbor Master Mike was great to deal with for our reservation and with all questions we had. The dock master that evening was friendly and did great with helping us get docked. Great spot to listen to a concert at Pier 6!!
Marina Response:
Thank you for being one of the first to take advantage of our Pier Six docking pilot project. We are gathering data and hope to continue the program.

Easy peasy. Responds to email quick and detailed.
Marina Response:

Mike is the absolute best! We took the boat to the Orioles game and being able to dock securely right at the inner harbor was perfect! Hopefully the new plans for redesign have similar arrangements.
Marina Response:
Thank you Shawn, go O's!

Awesome stay and communication from Mike. We will definitely be back soon 🙂
Marina Response:
Thanks Vitya, quite a concert last night at Pier Six! Glad you were able to dock right there for the show. See you next time.

Exceptional customer service from the Harbormasters office this weekend. Steve greeted us at the dock and was very helpful. Lovely evening on the Baltimore waterfront.

The finger piers are a great location to all the Inner Harbor has to offer. The docks are a little rough but still much better than some places. The Harbormaster did an excellent communicating before, during, and after to see if there was anything he could do to help us enjoy our stay.
Marina Response:
Thank you Nancy! The wooden Finger Piers are scheduled for removal in a major redevelopment of the Inner Harbor Park & Promenade scheduled to begin in 2027. We are working to maintain a state of good repair while knowing we can't invest in a full upgrade. That's a major driver in keeping our rates lower than surrounding marinas.

Stayed at the finger piers. Great location all the way in the Inner Harbor - super easy access to restaurants. Felt safe with the locking gate. Peaceful at night. Mike was incredibly helpful!
Marina Response:
Thank you captain, enjoyed having you in town.

Mike McGeady is great and I really appreciate his professionalism and the level of organization he has brought to Baltimore Harbor. He has filled a much needed place in Baltimore by becoming the Harbor Master and I think the online booking through Dockwa is super easy and convenient. Plus, I think the Baltimore piers and docks are being maintained better than they have been in years. I hope the ease of online reservations bring more folks downtown to experience what the Inner Harbor has to offer.

Harbormaster Mike was awesome. Dock is super convenient and had power and water that worked well. Will definitely stay again!

What can I say...Harbormaster Mike is nothing but a gracious professional heartwarming host. This man not only gave us a great accommodation as a new boater, he was awesome and very patient with our docking requirements. He made my first boat and dock , the greatest memory ever with Baltimore boat life!! Please come all to Fells Point and reserve with him! Top notch service indeed!!

***** UPDATE ***** to my original post below. Updated to 3 stars instead of the 1 star given on my first night. This is an update to my previous review. After speaking with Mike (the dockmaster), we decided to stay at the marina instead of moving. - Mike is great, 5-stars all the way. He was very receptive to my frustration with the previous issue and refunded the nights charge. He also offered to drive me out to the store if necessary. - The view is OUTSTANDING. Again, 5-stars all day and double that at night. - Approach and docking were easy. Facilities were clean. Shower was hot and water pressure was HIGH. - Access to restaurants, activities, the promenade was easy (maybe too easy). Hopefully the gates are approved. If so, I would certainly make this a yearly stop. *********************************** I'm writing this review at 4:30AM because I was awoken at 3:30 by people on my boat "to take pictures". And there's no way I'm getting back to sleep now. When I came from below there were 3 girls (one one my boat) and a guy. The guy starts arguing with me saying that I shouldn't be confronting a woman when there were just two men on the boat. So apparently they weren't the first ones. I was already concerned when I left the UNSECURED docks and the main street had literally 100 dirt bikes and ATVs riding by and several kids riding wheelies with their bicycles and mopeds on the promenade. Yes, the view is nice and you are close to the action but that's not always a good thing. I came in around 8PM so I didn't meet the dock master at the time of this review. When docking over night the main factors are safety and security and this place just doesn't have it.
Marina Response:
I'd give us zero stars. :( That is NOT the experience we set out to provide. Having launched our reservation system in July, we plan to install a gate at the head of Baltimore City Municipal Finger Piers later this fall. Even so, as they say, gates are for honest people and may (or may not) deter such egregious behavior. I can recommend nearby gated access facilities at Inner Harbor Marina, Harbor East Marina and Living Classrooms Marina. I will comp your fees paid to date.

What a delightful experience in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! Greeted upon our arrival to the dock by the Harbor Master himself who then offered a lift to the grocery store! Mike could not have been more welcoming and professional. The IH Finger Piers are in the heart of inner harbor activity and close to water taxi & free Connector Bus routes. Shower/Laundry facilities are clean & well kept. Captains Lounge was nicer than many private marinas we’ve experienced. Altogether a great stay and Highly Recommended!

I really missed the old days of being able to tie up in Fells Point, so I was thrilled to see this added to the Baltimore City Municipal Pier system. It was really easy to book through Dockwa! I should have planned in advance… but my trip was somewhat impromptu. Regardless the harbormaster responded right away and was able to book me for a three hour dock and dine. We hit up Thames Street Oyster House for a delicious meal (reservations recommended) and then Cats Eye Pub for a drink and some live music. Reminded me of decades ago when you could pull up and hop out in Fells to stroll around and grab a bite or a drink. I almost hesitated writing this because I don’t want the secret to get out, but would also love to see more boaters back in the harbor. Definitely recommend.

Michael: My buddies came clean with the prank on Thursday. It was even funnier listening to their planning. It was good to be back in the Inner Harbor. We wish you and your Team all the success in regenerating activity in the Inner Harbor. Communications, Accommodations and Location can't be beat. We had a great experience. Thank you, David
Marina Response:
It was a pleasure meeting you and we hope to see you again soon! Thank you for your feedback as we relaunch the Harbormaster service and work to "choreograph the guest experience."
