Super helpful Blake on site to help dock the boat. It’s important to note there are no bathrooms or showers on site. Bathrooms are at the ferry station and about 200 yards away and showers are a mile away at a public beach. They charge $2 for 4 minutes. Great location to historic area and restaurants.

The Dockmaster, Paul was very attentive. He was not going to be available at the time of arrival but he sent Blake over to assist. Everyone very helpful - small marina but worked perfectly for us as we stayed at Ballard’s Beach Club. Definitely would recommend.

Everything was excellent! This is a quaint little marina in the heart of the downtown. Paul is great, hands-on and very personable! His brother Blake was awesome as well! We even got to meet the third brother Steve! What a great family! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks guys!

Second time here. Dockmaster always friendly & helpful. Walking distance to town and right next to cycle/scooter rentals to explore the entire little island. Will return!

We had a great stay at Ballards Marina. Paul is welcoming and very helpful and always a phone call away. Located in the heart of old harbor it has easy access to all the local fun spots Block Island is known for.

Except for the little bit of drama Friday night with the person who was screaming obscenities at our two daughters and telling us how bad Ballards Marina is, which we totally disagree with the stay was amazing. Looking forward to our return trip. In August when we get to stay an extra night, looking forward to the hospitality that Paul provides to everyone who stays there on a scale of one to 10 it’s a 25

The marina manager, John, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He answered all of my questions before booking and even took the initiative to text me the morning of and check in several times during our voyage to Block. The communication was phenomenal and his offers of assistance when we threw a check engine code or even when he answered my call at the grocery store and offered to pick up anything we needed, did not go unnoticed. The marina is basic, but if you come prepared with extra fenders, lines, and are self sufficient, the location cannot be beat.
