Harbormaster and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The mooring field is still only partially open but they did everything above and beyond to accommodate us.

Our stay was good, Kurt was extremely nice and accommodating. Both guys on the pump out boat were great, After all that area has been through they have done a nice job at adding more mooring balls.

Only negative concern; mooring ball bridal is covered with barnacles. Must wear gloves to handle. Bridal should be placed out of water on top of Boat as designed. We had a great time at our stay

Reservations and communication were great. My only knock was the amount of growth on the mooring line, it was excessive. It made it very difficult to double the lines through the eye, and you had to be very careful not to cut yourself.

About Matanzas Pass Mooring Field
The Town of Fort Myers Beach proudly operates and maintains the Matanzas Pass Municipal Mooring Field. The field boasts 89 mooring balls available for public rental year-round and accommodates vessels up to 70 feet in length. Vessels larger than 70 feet in length must call the Mooring Field Office (239) 224-4118 for availability. The mooring field is located west of the Sky Bridge between San Carlos and Estero Island in Matanzas Pass. For recreational cruisers, the Matanzas Pass Mooring Field is a wonderful destination. Coming ashore at the Town public dinghy dock puts boaters in walking distance to beaches, restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and public transportation.
Staff is available on sight until 3pm M-F. Best way to contact staff after hours is to message via DOCKWA. The office does not receive mail on behalf of patrons. Please note, Mooring systems #4 - #9 are currently out of order. Moorings #1-#19 are located before the Matanzas Pass Bridge, vessels with a mast height of 60’ and greater will be put in this mooring field. Mooring systems #20-#89 are located after Matanzas Pass Bridge for vessels with a mast height of 60’ and under. Booking Info
If your request for a mooring is over a week in advance, you will be waitlisted until your day of arrival becomes closer. We will confirm and assign you a mooring before your arrival via Dockwa. We have two public dinghy docks. One is directly under the Matanzas Pass bridge, on the island side, and the other at the end of the canal of Tropical shores way and Gulf beach rd. We are currently utilizing the amenities of Matanzas Inns bathrooms, shower and laundry facilities. Please contact staff for passcode. Harbor Office can be reached at 239-224-4118.
