Big Sound Marina

A very clean and friendly marina. Staff are attentive and location is close to restaurants and a variety of stores. I like their online booking system as well.

Very nice spot. There is a swimming area behind the Big Sound marina office for the dog. Enjoyed our AGLCA looper docktails at the picnic area.

Marina staff where pleasant and helpful and the facilities clean. Lovely walking trail nearby to park and beaches.

People were exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Dockhands were very efficient and knowledgeable. Docks were in great shape. Bathrooms were okay, but nothing exceptional. Food is nearby, but groceries require transportation and there is no Uber or ride share, and the taxi service is a complete joke. Don't even think about a taxi, find someone to give you a ride if you need groceries.

Wonderful stop on Parry Sound. Convenient to downtown shopping and restaurants. Post office easy walk away. Two washers, one working dryer. One washer is $4/load, all other machines $2/load. Showers industrial but serviceable and cleaned regularly. Ladies room cleaned regularly. Two of the five stalls were out of service. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Nice picnic table area with community grills. Only reason this is not a five star review is the fact that there were several broken things (restroom stalls, washers) but otherwise this was a great stay and we enjoyed ourselves. Would stay again if in the area.

Vibrant Marina that is next to Parry Sound a fun community that has a lot to offer. Docks are well maintained with good deep water and big fareways to maneuver into slips. There is a full staff of competent dock hands eager to catch line. Boater’s showers and facilities are centrally located and easy to access. Good Marina to visit as a transient boater or stay for a long visit.

The staff is excellent and the facilities are clean. The negative part of the experience is the cancellation policy. Changing weather conditions make the 48 hour cancellation notice a challenge.

Nice clean and well maintained facilities. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very well trained. They met us at the dock upon arrival and check-in was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Excellent marina

Fantastic stay. The marina staff was extremely attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond beyond to accommodate us during a busy week. The facility was nice and clean. Just a great place to stay for the week. Definitely plan to go back.

Helpful staff and easy access made getting secured in our slip easy. There is a great community of boaters here on the weekends and they are welcoming and offered help if needed. The only downside is groceries are a taxi ride away to the shopping center across the river.
