We spent a few days on a mooring buoy. They were very easy to locate and well-maintained. The yacht club members we met were very welcoming and helpful. They are also very responsive on Dockwa, which makes communication a breeze. The restroom and shower facilities are very clean and pleasant. It’s a lovely place to stop for a few days. If we’re back in the area, we will certainly return.

We had a wonderful stay at the RCYC. All the members we met were very helpful. The harbor is well protected and the clubhouse is beautiful. We were there at the very end of the season when the bar had limited hours and we're sad we weren't able to meet more members.

We like to stay at the RCYC in the spring and fall when we going back and forth from our seasonal mooring and our winter storage. We always enjoy our stay. The harbor is lovely and well sheltered. The club house is beautiful and the launch operators are very professional and helpful. There are also quite a few excellent restaurants within walking distance from the club.
Looking forward to our visit this coming spring!

Only stayed overnight on our way south. Mooring was easy to locate and it was a great night. Good communication from the yacht club. Wish we had more time to go ashore and explore. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely harbor… spent 4 quiet nights. Great dinghy dock to be able to get into the many restaurants close by.

Lines on the mooring ball should be replaced and floats added. Otherwise I absolutely loved the place!! Third time there this year!! We will be back!!

Richmond County Yacht Club was a fabulous discovery. It's the perfect place to stop when traveling to or from Long Island Sound to Cape May. We stopped there to wait for the perfect weather window and were very happy with everything about it. The showers were immaculate and we had a great time at the bar overlooking the Great Kills Harbor. Everyone was so nice. They have a launch service too and there are restaurants within walking distance of the Clubhouse. We recommend it.

Didn't make it ashore but a lovely harbor and well protected. Moorings were nicely spaced to allow swing room. We will be back.

We stayed here for 4 weeks . Club was very welcoming and launch was an excellent addition! Water is very very murky so expect lots of growth . Also the birds of prey are a nightmare for messing up your decks , you need lots of streamers !!
There was a couple of bad storms when we were there but felt totally safe on the ball .

The yacht club staff and members were fantastic. Unfortunately the marina cafe had a DJ going outside until 1AM. When that was over, people over at the fishing beach picked up the party with fireworks and music until 3am.

I spent July 18 and 19,2026 on one of their mooring. Everyone in the club was extremely friendly. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The tender service is fast and runs 9 am to 9:30 pm, There are two very good restaurant within 3 block walk. And many more very nearby. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stop in the area.

Nice place. Transient mooring was a bit hard to find but we got there. Club is open for lunch and dinner, but double check since it may only be on some days. Our dingy came loose and drifted down the bay and the launch driver brought it back before we even knew it was missing.

Mooring was easy to tie up to. The scenery was clean and beautiful. The shuttle service was excellent! The bar inside the marina is beautiful and the restaurant was very very good! We’ll be back

No one was available by phone or over the radio when we were trying to find out morning ball. Other than that, it was very convenient.

Wonderful! Mooring balls have 2 painters attached. No need to use your own ropes. Tender service in the harbor was a bonus. No need to launch your dinghy.
